I'd like to have SMG release the data on cap positioning frequencies. Gascony, Istanbul, Greece, London... there are going to be cap territories that are kind of like the most popular letters in wheel of fortune: just assume they will be capped. Is Sevastopol the least popular cap position? Just how often ARE iceland caps applied?
Would be fascinating, I'd love to get some records on pete's games, like the names of his opponents, who's good who's not. Common cap positions, all sorts of data that you could probably scrub from his videos alone, even if you don't have the back end data like SMG would have. look at rolls and stuff too.
I'd assume Gascony, London, the Dinaric territories and possibly Rabat are the most common cap stats. Sevastopol has a decent amount of meme cappers, but Naples (2 spot card block), Iraq/Arabia and the NW tip of Spain would be the most uncommon
Oddly….i think purple and red were colluding. Red was the patsy, only breaking you and green, never breaking or going into purple other than card trading in Russia. Felt very sus tbh… Then you gave red the slippery tuna and purple was like ah fuck now I can’t win, and botted out cuz his buddy was deceased🤷🏻♂️
same thought occurred to me as well. Purple/red had been very friendly all game (when red had been going out of their way to break almost everyone) and that purple bot out all but confirmed it.
Nah, you can see purple "giving up" and saying "good game, Thanks, Good Luck" several times at around 30:15, before Pete attacked Red. I think purple just got bored with the "take a card and pass" game which had been going for several rounds at that point and saw a long stalemate coming, so he peaced out
@@NicoO0Oo1Yeah, I think that's just two players playing on opposite sides of the map and the timings of their wars. Purple and Red were both the big earners on the outside and of course they want to push their advantage so they would break everyone. Red's capital placement was key in having them not wage war on each other because Purple never wanted to commit the troops and Red was always pushing west.
I feel like blue and orange were the same person, and the plan was to give orange a two cap open. However, Pete stealing the blue cap derailed the plan. Orange didn't know how to adapt after and sued into Pete as a result.
That doesn't make sense though, blue wouldn't have attacked the orange cap if that was the plan. He would have attacked territories on the other side so that nobody else could see he stepped off cap for orange to take.
Had a game of prog caps yesterday where the red player allowed me to trade with them in Australia rather than take the continent bonus, a move I assumed made him at least an intermediate if not expert but he was a beginner
Been watching Pete for a couple months now but just downloaded the game 2 weeks ago, hit Expert a few days ago and won a couple of games when I was a beginner, first thing I did before installing the game was figure out how to attack fast as it seemed crucial in winning some late games. No doubt still making silly mistakes here and there but I feel I'm already at a decent skill level due to how much knowledge I gained before even playing my first match, probably didn't look like a novice/beginner in any of my early matches
That "HELLO" was so jarring after so many videos of "what...... is..... up" I thought I clicked on the wrong video for a second
We as a community need to come together to think of the cruelest, most inhumane challenge/settings for Pete to play.
True random, caps, fog on a tiny map
And fixed ofc ❤
caps, fog of war, blizzards, fixed, true random, auto setup, 280 second turn timer, on super max prison.
@@tortugaunveiled maybe even manual setup for optimal stalemate potential?
Camera animations on
Not gonna lie, the “hello” was actually refreshing

Iceland caps are the most popular, I see them every game. I've once seen a player cap last to act on a 1 in Iceland instead of a 3 in London😂😂

I dunno, it seemed like a clear case of collusion to me.
Yay, European Advanced Progressive Capitals! I always enjoy watching these meta settings.
It is possible that Green wasn't a smurf. It does take a while to earn the GM rank in game, after all.
Hello? Hello?!! 😂❤
Technically the noob corner chokes off in Germany. Denmark can only hit the territory directly beneath it.
I love that you took out the red player and called him out as a newb... while giving praise to the green player... that's a classy move... kudos
GG bro What a play . From UK to
Green played well throughout, definitely a good player and not the usual scum and villainy

lol what a goofy way to cheat
@@FreePete I agree, but maybe orange was trying to not be obvious about it.

Reggie cam for the win
I think there are a lot of players of lower rank who play better because of watching these videos.

I hate those who dont recognise the step off the capital as your last turn to concede. They continue to tighten to noose unnecessarily.
Purple and red are 100% the same player
