    1:04- rare Datsun wagon
    2:05-early Chevy Vega
    2:37-Rear end of a mid-70s Toyota Celica

I always thought that first car was a Mercury Grand Marquis. I remembered them as a kid. As a child born in the 80's these scenes facilitate my love of 70's cars and missing out the 70s.

Can you imagine Karl Malden's character Mike Stone from The Streets Of San Francisco calling Chevy Chase a "Hot Dog"? In case you're wondering what the expression means it's police lingo for Reckless, don't always go by the book and follow departmental procedure." Hot Dog was the title of The Streets Of San Francisco season 5 episode with Don Johnson as a guest star. Michael Douglas left the show after episode two of season 5 to pursue a movie career but his character Steve Keller leaves the San Francisco Police Department to become a Criminology Professor at UC Berkley. Don Johnson's character Larry Wilson is a motorcycle cop and is a "Hot Dog" according to Lieutenant Stone (Karl Malden) but despite Larry being a "Hot Dog", rambunctious, rough around the edges at times he's actually very intelligent and at the end of the episode he saved Lt. Stone's life and earned his respect
