Love my XM, and my SM, CX and C6... ;) So yes there is another newer weird car on the road, the C6 ;)
Beautiful. I owned a maroon1991 model XM SEi in 1996. It was immaculate, but did not have leather seats. I regret selling it, but I moved to Australia and my mate sold it for me. I remember the original reciept being in the glovebox and it cost 19 grand, but I picked it up an an auction for just 2275 pounds. It had 30K on the clock too. What a beast it was.
On occasions I still dream that I have the car. I tried a search on DVLA for the car and it seems to no longer exist. RIP my old beauty.
I owned a 1990 2.0i auto in grey and still regret selling it to this day. It was a lovely day to day car to own. My only gripe with it was the road and engine noise. It just didn't gel with the lovely suspension. Aesthetically I always felt it sat a little high with the suspension set at its normal ride height too. Always loved coming out of my front door to see it sat down low on the drive.
Oh I love this🙄... I'm obsessed.
Sam's is a forever car for him!
Shudda been a 30 minute video. We need more XM.
Great car, congratulations 😊👍
Started with a Dyane 6 went eventually to several XMs, Xantia C5 s - now knees have given out, still find Xsara Picasso works well. Loved them all - seriously abnormal !
Good stuff... Although the "normalising" of switchgear and dashboards came with the Series 2 BX. The XM was later.
Still a stunning car. We has a Series 1 break and I remember, when washing it, being endlessly fascinated by the bizarre treatment of the front glass panels (screen and lights and door glass). Citroën just couldn't (at that time) give up and let the silly stuff go. They just had to funk it up somewhere....
The XM also had the diravi on some versions, so the steering was still self aligning ;)
Not on any of the RHD versions for some reason. But it was available in all LHD markets.
@@sjokomelk Oh, didn't know that :(
@@sjokomelk Correct, it was a packaging problem
Yes!! Cars for people who are not quite normal!!! Something different…😊
When you can raise the car this high, who needs an SUV ;)
Nice
There is no getter car
