I feel like most people play this game solo and R* have realized this, thus the newer vehicles have weapons designed to be used while you're driving. I would say the biggest change in GTA Online is the transition away from trying to force people to play in groups.
I hate the original heist only because it makes you have for people. The modern GTA player can do all those heist by themselves. However, it is one of the most well put together series of heist I've ever seen in any game. They still really fun to do, and even after all these years, the cutscenes hold up, and emissions make sense. They were not just an excuse to sell you vehicles
Agreed. I've been playing since early 2018 and only just finally completed the OG heists. They were fun and I'm a bit sad that I'll never be able to do them again because it is pretty rare to find a group of people compatible with my time zone. I could definitely see them being reworked for a solo player with certain roles filled by NPCs or removed completely so the player takes on the most important actions of the missions.
The Prison Break Heist Is Impossible to do In modern day GTA Online, I wanted to play the original Heist series because I was getting bored of the other methods of getting money (think I had Cayo when I was trying It) but dear god the sheer difficulty working with 4 random players, I couldn't convince my friends to help me with It and whenever I tried all the team lives would disappear because the game makes you divide and conquer and I was forced Into the police department one, the easier and safer of the two options
@@TaurusTheCrazyBull I definitely feel your struggle, but I'm telling you, with the right methods, the modern GTA player could do this mission by themselves
They have to make the future GTA VI online heists playable with NPC heist teams, maybe even at a higher cut like the story mode because I cannot do heists with other players. Even the Lamar & Franklin mission I haven’t managed to complete because people die and rage quit.
Yes when you actually had to EARN the right to buy and use such power. Now all you needa do is just use mommies credit card and buy yourself a nice juicy shark card for such things. 🤣
Surprisingly, the armored karuma and duke of death are still sorta useful after all this time. Sure they don’t tank explosives, but for missions being able to use them and not burn through snacks and armor is great
@@noodlesoup2586 I got the duke for free. I will take the FREE 90% bullet protection. not to say I don't disagree. I have died plenty whilst in the duke but it's also saved me. I'm really only dead if the NPC is literally right next to or right in front of me, aiming at me point blank, execution style. which only happens when I get too confident and try ram them so there's user error.
I would say the Duke of Death is good beginner car, Beings that it is free and fast, and covers most protection, it makes a solid contender for being a good car, afterwards once you have your business set up I would recommend upgrading to the Karuma and then running the online systems. There is one mission in particular that I would not use the Karuma on and that is the Acid labs as there is one mission where there is a tank and basically one hit and your car is toast.
I still like contact missions because you can more or less complete then however you like. They do remind of times though when I was so poor that I had to rob a store with an empty gun to get money to buy ammo for the next contact mission. Titan of a job definitely saved my early career.
@@announcer6114 no, that wouldnt make any sense because they wouldn't know the deluxo would eventually exist when they made the ruined, it would make more sense to call the deluxo the ruiner mk2
Let's not forget that the Toreador also has access to the sonar (when purchased for the Kosatka) - whereas the Stromberg does not - meaning the Toreador can actually earn you 75k daily just for taking it underwater. Granted, if you mark the locations using the Kosatka, the Stromberg can find the packages, but it cannot use sonar itself to get you the precise location as you approach.
@@tonybucheler7221 It's only time wasted if you don't like going around in the water - and most people don't. There are occasional days, however, when all the packages are clustered together and all 10 can be collected in under 4 minutes. The rest of the time, I'll usually find a griefer in a session and tease them - because their weapons of choice cannot hit anything underwater. All they can hit you with is a Stromberg (which can't keep up), an Orbital Cannon (750k price tag for a single kill) or another Toreador (they HATE being on a level playing field)
They should double the payout from the OG heists and contact missions from what it is now. Last week, when PacStan was double money, it was quite rewarding with 3.7 million payout overall. The heists also shouldn't automatically fail, if one player drops out.
@@cloak679 indeed however i am sure the Prison Break heist would be the hardest out of all of them. However i still believe there is a way. Heck, if need be they could add in AI crewmembers. I mean it's in gta story. If they did a similar mechanic like that then those heists are be done solo. They have the tools all they gotta do is put it together and make sure it runs like a well oiled machine. Maybe they could even give these AI characters names and stats too. Kinda like a background could be interesting.
@@cloak679 In some missions this could be problematic. Like when the pilot drops out in the finals of prison break or humane labs, but most missions don't really need 4 players to be completed. As for the cuts, I'd split the cut of the dropped player evenly amongst the rest of the players.
I started playing GTAO earlier this year (admittedly late to the party) and I used double reward contact missions to grind the money for a Kosatka... yet I have no regrets. It was some of the most fun I’ve had in GTA. I’ve now done Cayo Perico enough times to buy any silly thing I want, yet I find myself doing the contact missions and OG heists more often just because they are more fun. There is more to life than getting money as efficiently as possible, and the same is even more true in video games. Having fun with mediocre rewards is more appealing to me than min-maxing rewards in a way that becomes stale and repetitive. It would be nice for older heists and contact missions to have better rewards, but they are still engaging enough on their own to be worthwhile.
My wife and I are on the exact same page. Only started March of '22 and got free modded cars from friends and ran cayo and bogdam enough to give me plenty money and rp. Now we just want to play the rest of the game.
Its the amount of player controlled setting of the contact missions.. you get to pick whatever you want to use at whatever time. Heist are less that way and are set to stay that way. I still play contact missions when I don't like the weekly featured jobs.
Also one of the annoying things about the oppressor mk1 is that you have to do bunker research just to get missles which can take a very long time if your not lucky making the mk2 a better choice
@@omaralhassan8713 Same but honestly compared to the 900+ million I've made so far it really wasn't that much of a grind to get compared to everything else in this game
The doomsday heist, as for monetary gain, is probably one of the worst ways to gain money because of how long the setups take and, especially on the third act, a very difficult finale. However, the doomsday heist is my favorite heist because of how fun it is--- I'll never forget my dad saying "you'll never finish act III with randoms" and then beating act III with randoms first try
Nah, it’s the best if u have a friend.. every 13 mins u can do act 2, give 85% to ur friend and 15% to urself, as soon as ur leaving the avenger in the hangar u close application and ur friend will get 1.5mil.. just do it back and forth and every 30 mins u get 1.5mil.. u both need act 2 ready though.. so like every 30 mins u both get 1.5mil and u just repeat
Honorable mention to the Valkyrie helicopter. I still enjoy using it when I have people to actually get some value from it, but it just gets outshined by newer vehicles
it made the stromberg obsolete but the vigilante is still useful, it has way better missile tracking, better bulletproof windows and the boost is better than the toreador, if it had infinite missiles too itd be a good sidegrade on heists, sadly right now a good chunk of the vigilante's usefulness in them is speedrun type things, like elite challenges or other niche tricks
Honestly I still like the stromberg in free mode, it looks better imo and it feels good driving a somewhat normal vehicle that I can still defend myself in
I think the Air Freight cargo deserves to be on this list because it takes about 6-7 hours to do for $500,000, instead I can do Crates in my ceo warehouse in the same amount of time and get $2,250,000. It just doesn't make sense considering Smugglers Run came out 2-3 years after the Finance and Felonies.
@@aerodynamicist4 They are also decent tk get Smuggler's Run vehicle trade prices. Pretty much, the air freight is only useful for fun, and trade prices on a few cool vehicles.
I did enough of them to unlock the trade prices, but I didn't grind them all out at once. I just did one or two in between bunker sales and suchlike. Now I only do one if it's for a daily objective.
The one redeeming quality of the doomsday hesitate is when you complete them, Lester is free for getting the cops off you. It’s a small amount but saving 200 bucks for every star you lose adds up quickly especially if you call Lester as much as I do.
Another thing that the Mk2 made obsolete was the Thruster JetPack, which wasn't that good before but was tottaly outclassed after. About the original heists: honestly, despite being lower pay i still find them some of the most fun heists of the game (except for the A Series). About the Rhino: you forgot to mention that they nerfed the armor of the Rhino, which it makes it even sadder when they launched the other tanks with more armor.
Personally I'd like to see rockstar give you the choice to hire people to do the heists, like in cayo you can pay for helicopter support. Imagine you can pay a few hundred thousand to hire 3 NPC's, maybe Michael, Franklin and Trevor so you can do them solo
@@mw5803 Well then just some startup criminals controlled by AI during missions, like the ones we hire in the Diamond Casino heist. Choosing between their level of competency / percentage cut
I sometimes do the doomsday heist because the story of the heist is so fucking good unlike Cayo Perico what gets boring after 4 times you have done it. Casino heist is the best heist in my opinion, good story, different variants, not so long, actually higher payout than Cayo, more fun.
One thing to note, the insurgent pickup was in the game to own since the OG heist update. It was a Pegasus vehicle tho and you couldn't customize it. Which once it became customizable, I sold my regular insurgent. Another note is that the Oppressor is the most fun you will ever have getting good at using it. Still my go to for map traversal. And last Prison Break my favorite heist to do with friends.
What the apartment heists need is better messaging, and the ability to queue for specific ones. Let people know if they are queuing for the intro/finale, not just a vague "do you wanna" message that leads to quittting/re-joining headaches.
I found out a month ago about the Opressor Mk 1 and instantly fell in love with it. It is now my most favorite vehicle in the game, can't believe I have never seen someone using it and still don't see anyone.
@@NFSBeast2365 First thing I did after getting my Opressor mk 2 was to go grief to see everybody else feels and couldn't understand what is so fun about it.
10:48, Only thing SAD about the older cars, is that when they put our NEWER and much Faster cars, they didn't lower the price ANY for the old cars... They still expect you to pay 3-4 MILLION for the same old crud.
The most frustrating part of the og heist. Is that the mission design probes that It can done with 2 players only, all of the heist prep AND finales, but nooooo 4 players obligatory.
Actually the original Oppressor is still useful for the freeroam biggest jump challenge, as it still counts as a land vehicle. Jump-Gliding from the observatory down to the beach usually wins one of those..."
Ironically the Stromberg made a mini-comeback in one of the updated resupply missions, for cargo maybe. Where staying underwater kept away from the perfect aim bots and it didn’t have a glass roof to shoot thru like the Toreador. But the mission was so absurd for the payout that most now just skip it, and there went the Strombergs last chance for a comeback to relevancy. Still, a fun car if you got millions $ just hanging around.
Believe it or not, i did all of the apartment heists with randoms when I started the game, usually to get all players for 1 setup it took an hour. But usually they leave so in a day i could do probably 2 setups. I'm not even gonna talk about the heists itself
@@mysteranonymous7773 PC here too but me and my friend had the WORST time finding people. literally waited ages or just went off the game and tried the next day then when we did, they died and left.
Bro the rooftop rumble grind was so real back in the day. I still remember playing it with randoms hopping someone had access to a Maverick that they could call to make it take half the time.
The Doom's Day Heist will always hold a special place in my heart. I had a friend who used to play GTA v online almost all the time with me and she was always trying to make money I would help her out and she would love doing the Doom's Day heists. She got very busy in life and I don't see her now as much as I used too but The Doom's Day heists do bring back nostalgic memories that my friend and I would pour into them.
2:23 you didn’t mention how the stromberg has its own icon so people know it’s a stromberg, versus the torreador that appears as a regular dot on the map ! i’ve baited so many depressor mk.2 using babies into thinking i’m a free kill only to turn around and kill them
I couldn’t agree more contact missions were the bread and butter of an old school money grinder. I would love to see a pay increase to them to get more people playing again. I still play these regularly as they’re more fun to me than other methods
I agree. i love contact missions and can't understand why R* don't make them permanently double money to encourage people to play them. Having them randomly on 2x or 3x is not the answer because what R* don't tell you is that only first time players of the missions get the full bonus. If you have played any of the missions even once before then you only get 1.5x and 2x instead of the full advertised payout. Typical R* though.
@@nevyanplamenov5409 : 100% agree. R* have to try and make it look as if you they want you to make in-game money but the really don't. They lost a lot of revenue on Shark Cards with the Cayo Perico heist and they are desperate to get Shark Card sales back on track.
I personally feel contact jobs aren't that irrelevant. Cause when they are on double/triple money you see a lot of people playing them, I would say adversary modes are more irrelevant cause even with 3x money on those barley anyone plays them
agreed and plus i think contact missions are relevant for beginners too so they can grind towards an apartment to do the heists until they have enough for a kosatka
I stopped trying to complete apartment heists as leader with random people when realized how frustrating and time consuming it was, so, instead, I went with joining others using "quick join" option from cellphone. Still frustrating when people leaves, but it takes considerably less time than being the host. The other remaining option is having friends to play with, but unfortunately, the few I have are not interested.
Personally, I use the MK1 all the time, my main method of transportation, specially with the boost and go upside down method. Thanks to the MC ability to call my bikes right next to me, it's just too convenient not to. I did put a lot of hours on it to the point it's not only my favorite motorbike, which gives me the regeneration and damge resistance MC bonus, but also learned how to PvP with it. Since it's actually a fun and balanced vehicle for the game with a high skill ceiling (you actually have to know what you're doing to avoid normal homing rockets, not just zig zag like an idiot like you do on an MK2). The MK1 was perfect as it was, then someone at Rockstar had the unholy idea to make it have a child with the Deluxo whilst adding countermeasures. Believe me, if you learn how to use how to use an MK1 and PvP with it, then you're a chad, on the same level of Scramjet users, objectively the 2 most fun vehicles in the game. Don't be a witch on a broomstick, be a chad on a cool glider bike.
@@NFSBeast2365 I use it to kill griefers myself, actually. In fact, since I play on pc and modding griefing rats are just a dime a dozen, I have more than once fought people using some cheap aimbot (whilst not in godmode, because then there would be no fight) where I would avoid their aimbot mods completely just because the MK1 flight pattern is so impossible to accompany for an amibot if you maintain your speed constantly while flying, unlike MK2s, which just fly in a straight line, and then, from the top of their heads, diving directly down, something that the MK2 also can't do (unless you're flying upside down on the MK2, but that's broken af and shouldn't exist, regardless of how difficult it is to pull off, something like that which has absolutely no counter shouldn't exist).
@@riftpowers701 I did use mod menus in the past (recently reset my character and removed all my money myself to play real) but man having to use aimbot is even more pathetic wtf
The Stromberg has another disadvantage over the Toreador. And that is the Stromberg shows up on the map with a special vehicle icon. So you're an easy target. But the Toreador appears with you on the map just like driving a normal vehicle. A lot easier to stay bellow the radar of griefers. Also the Stromberg has only 2 seats which is a funbreaker when you wanna drive around with 3 more friends or wanna pick someone up.
I agree completely with this list but i would still hit up the original heists just for the nostalgia and to remember how fun the good old days were. Another thing that really annoys me is that grinding has gone completely out the window bc of the Cayo Perico and the Criminal Enterprise pack. I remember loading in lvl 1 with a pistol and thats it. No free cars, offices nothing. bunkers werent even out yet and having to work for everything has gone out the window and to make it worse all i hear are new players complain about not having anything and its so annoying lol but anyways thanks for the nostalgia trip it was great
I still play them to this day. Not for the pay (got 152mil in my bank), but like you said, for the nostalgia of simpler times. Yes, it still sucks somewhat to do with randoms. But unless they're new to the game, a lot of the randoms you find know what they need to do and are actually pretty good
I actually use the Oppressor a lot. It can be spawned next to you very easily, just like the mkII, but doesn't have the cooldown, and it's just so much more fun to use and I don't feel like a d*ckhead driving it. Granted, I did spend the money and time to unlock the misssiles, so that helps, but still I can highly recommend doing that and using the mkI
Depends how you play the game, if you play for fun and simply not money making then old heists are relevant! I usually switch between heists for variety
I'm excited because yesterday I was FINALLY able to afford the sub and completed the cayo heist solo thanks to you. Gives me joy I haven't had in GTA in years. It's hard to play when I work full time and have a family. Don't judge. Keep up the good content.
"Contact missions are really fun." THATS why I do them! Not for money, I've got Nightclub and MC businesses etc. for that. Why can't the game be fun anymore instead of just grinding? Grinding for WHAT anyway? So you can buy stuff to have FUN with? That....should mean something!
I have to admit that I do use the Deluxo instead of any other thruster vehicle, but that's not because I think it's particularly good; I just like telling new players "Where we're going, we don't need roads"
I kinda miss the casino heist, but so many of my friends gave up playing the game and I have more or less become a player that jumps on once in awhile and does a CP heist, couple restocks and sales and I’m done for the day. So as much as the casino heist does require a crew more or less I’m kinda hoping with the ability to do the Ms. Baker missions solo I’m hoping they kinda make the casino heist solo too so I can revisit it. And as a side note I hated the doomsday heists! The finale literally used more ammo than I have ever used in one heist!
@@nevyanplamenov5409 They did. Finally managed to complete them on my own not too long ago. Casino heist is still 2 players minimum though, which now left me with a very prepared unfinished heist plan.
I remember back in the day even before there was more than just the dot to ID on the map running around in the tank greifing, and also stealing greifers tanka with the cargo bob and dropping them in the ocean. I miss those days both in game and IRL.
One of the best memories on gta online come from the insurgent with a turret. Me and my mate luke used to play gta online together all the time, stuck together and did everything in it together from day one. Contact missions, heists, cargo, doomsday heist, casino heist. We spent hours going round the city in my insurgent hed drive, id be the gunner. Wicked times some of the battles we had with other players were so much fun. He stopped playing the game about three years ago and now my inurgent just sits in my agency gathering dust. A memorial to a fun time.
I still use the Rhino tank occasionally. If you’re good with a tank it doesn’t matter how much armor you have and since it can aim higher than the Khanjali it’s actually a better option
Nowadays, the OG heists are just for fun, when you have friends to play. Still, would be awesome to get a boost on them, plus, the ability to play them solo or by two players.
I’ve been going through the original heists just for the sake of completion. Oh my lord the pain. I spend 20-40minutes trying to get people to join/stay in the mission and about 10-20minutes to complete a single mission. Horrendous.
Imo, the coil cyclone is still a pretty good vehicle in 2022, massive acceleration, insane reverse speed, sick headlights. But just the the oppressor, it got a second buffed up version that made it feel outdated
Contact missions nowadays are good if you want to break up the monotonous repetition of businesses and heists. I've grinded 65mil even after buying everything I've needed/wanted. So I just do some contact missions here and there to keep things interesting and different.
Well I use Opressor to this date as main vehicle, for grinding and for fun. I mean you can call it instantly in MC menu, you have lot of good tracking rocket, and if you know how to glide with it, its really easy and fun
You use boost on ground and take of after the boost starts to reaload, close wings, use second boost in air while going to glide possition and you can fly almost half a map on one go. You dont even need to hold any key, you can open map or use phone.
I think they seriously decreased the amount of rockets you can shoot with this thing. Either that or i just never used a lot of rockets when driving it.
Act 3 is still the most challenging finale in the game IMO. I must have played it over 100 times since launch day, and I got my first Elite Challenge last week. I have to admit, even though I’m a true OG, the crew got carried by a god. (Shout out to Indaco) I even enjoy the set ups, but can’t find many experienced players who agree 🙄
Rockstar should also buff the payout As well as make more stores to rob. I recall hearing how it was an og way to make money and I honestly find it enjoyable to rob convience stores
I use the armored kuruma a lot is one of my favorite vehicles for doing contact missions and just driving around looking for jumps. Purposely rolling it down Mount Chiliad. I think it is a fun vehicle and as long nobody shoots you at the oppressor you ride around the lobby all damn day
If you play the game for fun, then the contact missions are a good way to pass the time. I enjoy doing Gerald's missions a lot. On the other hand, ULP Missions are just horrible... They're really glitchy and they have a really low rating. The first one has a rating of 0%! 😂 As for vehicles, I only buy what's useful or my favourites. Just this week I bought a normal Voltic! I love electric vehicles and my favourite is the Surge. 😄
@@isaactwine To be honest, I've only done the first one. That one was shitty, to me at least. As for the rest, I'm just saying what I read online. Maybe people dislike them, including TGG apparently.
at@@UnusualPete : The problem with R* is they have made recent missions too long and involved so that they are not worth playing. It started with the Gerald Last Play missions. You can actually do just about any 2 of the original contact missions and make more money than a single Last Play mission in less time. They have done this with the new Bunker missions. They are so long and so involved that they are not worth playing. i just change sessions until I get one of the original missions and never bother playing any of the new ones. R* just don;t get this.
@@MegaBadgeman : Exactly. The Repo-Under the Hammer mission is impossible with randoms as they just go charging in the front entrance and get annihilated right away. That mission is so easy solo if you use the right strategy. Same with Repo-RV Nearly There. It's an easy mission to do solo if you use the proper tactics. Randoms just totally mess that mission up big style.
I gotta disagree on the oppressor tbh, at least on xbox 1 they're still pretty common, just today I was in a public lobby and there were 5 or 6 ppl using them, including myself
the doomsday heist would be so much better if they upped the pay and made like a doomsday heist part 2 or something for another dlc. They original heist’s would also be so much better if you could do it with 2 people
The way Rockstar could fix all the heists is make the og heist 2-4 players and the doomsday and casino heists can be modified for solo play. I don't remember doomsday but if you speed up loot pickup animation for casino and give you less fingerprint hacks that could easily be solo
I wouldn't mind if they let us do preps solo/with two people. You do need 4 players for Prison Break and Humane Labs, but you could get away with two players on the others.
Really, the only reasons to do the Doomsday heist is to get the 3 trophies in your facility, AND (more importantly) get the cops off you for free with Lester. I know it's only $200 per star, but that adds up over time
It doesn’t add up over time tho unless you have almost no money which even doing a contact mission could give you enough to afford it for quite a long time
I only use Lester if I'm in a hurry to finish to log out. Otherwise, losing the cops in gta is not that difficult and you get rp for losing the wanted level but no rp to have Lester bribe them.
best vehicles for every: 1. Seminole 2. Seminole 3. Seminole 4. Seminole MKII 5. Seminole 6. Acid-Lab (Seminole 6x6) 7. Seminole 8. Seminole 9. Armored Seminole 10. Seminole it has been removed but the Seminole 6x6, Seminole MKll and Armored Seminole is still in the game you buy them with gta +
I do quite enjoy doing that first FLEECA Heist still. It's a quick way to make a little money if you're only playing for a bit and it's my favorite way to meet new people or help out newer players. The rest of those heists can get in the bin though.
Honestly, the only real buff the original heists need is an option to play them solo. The payouts are fine for one person, but the main draw is how grounded and fun they are. They don't need to compete with Cayo Perico, they just need to have a solo option so that we can have fun with them.
Only thing I can add is that (unless it has changed since I tested it) the Toreador takes less damage than the Stromberg. When my friends and I tried it we found the toreador to take 4 missiles to the stromberg’s 5.
I've had the mk2 oppressor for years but I fly my mk1 ALL of the time to this day. The mk2 is for when my mk1 is destroyed, collecting crates on water, or getting ontop of a building. Sometimes I travel with it, but rarely. The first opressor is the most fun vehicle in the game to me, I can even evade mk2s with them since their boost doesn't come back, meanwhile I'm flying away into the sunset with another one ready to pop.
You don’t do doomsday heists for the money. It’s for the experience, and the criminal mastermind challenges for that are the hardest achievements for heists in the game. Quite satisfying on completion.
I completed all contact missions on mission list, including hidden missions. I found some of them really fun. Actually these missions have trained my skills and understanding of GTA online.
The regular oppressor is my go to back up when my mk II is destroyed. I love how you can just spam spawn it. Plus, I learned how to kill ground targets pretty precisely with the oppressor which is really fun
Oh the contact missions. I played Pier Pressure so many times. Cops never spawn in that mission, but now I have Fortified freeroam mission that stops them for 10 minutes and pays better.
OG Heist will always remain the best for me tbh. The way all four people had special and specific roles to perform. It made it feel like a live action movie you're playing with your friends. I felt like a badass, without the need to use brain dead vehicles or OP weapons. Miss the old GTS online so much
I think nobody doesnt even know that contact missions exist because they just grind the cayo perico heist and even if they have enough money to buy adder, they spend all of it to oppressor mk 2 and start griefing
I still do contact missions. Yes, they don't give too much money but... so what? I don't go to GTA Online to WORK for fake money. Y play GTAO to HAVE FUN.
Ruiner 2000 is the most OP thing in the game. If you own one, just register as a CEO and start the VIP mission called "fully loaded", it will give you a special ruiner 2000 that you collect on a random pont on the map. This car resists over 20 direct hits from rockets, it has unlimited ammo and fires ghe most op missiles in the game, best part is that you cant be locked on by enemies while using the car. Only downside is that you can only use it for 20 minutes jntil the mission timer ends.

@TaurusTheCrazyBull 100%. I gave up on Online because of that. Can't find anyone to do them with, they give up mid mission, or the game freaks out..
They have to make the future GTA VI online heists playable with NPC heist teams, maybe even at a higher cut like the story mode because I cannot do heists with other players. Even the Lamar & Franklin mission I haven’t managed to complete because people die and rage quit.
Y’all remember when the insurgent hydra etc where locked until you complete their specific heist?
The Kuruma/ Amoured Kuruma too! On 360/ps3
Only True OGs know the deal

@@micheller916 o yes i remember seeing the kuruma so unreacheable till i did the heist lmao
Surprisingly, the armored karuma and duke of death are still sorta useful after all this time. Sure they don’t tank explosives, but for missions being able to use them and not burn through snacks and armor is great
Duke of death can take 4 missions that’s decent atleast idk what you are talking about
duke o death sucks for bullet protection compared to the kuruma
The duke of death at max armor takes 2 rpgs and 3 homing launchers rocket

@@noodlesoup2586 Yeah I meant to say that, I was tired when posting that comment
A lot of time wasted for 75k though
But what about the cuts and the roles they play into
@@cloak679 well they can simply rewrite the heist a little so it can make it more friendly when situations like that happen.
Well, its gonna be hard for the humane lab raid, planing A
@@cloak679 indeed however i am sure the Prison Break heist would be the hardest out of all of them.
I see what you mean and i think we can all agree, however that's not the point of the video

Toreador not only obsolete Stromberg but it also obsolete the vigilante in the sense that you can also use toreador in OG heist
it made the stromberg obsolete but the vigilante is still useful, it has way better missile tracking, better bulletproof windows and the boost is better than the toreador, if it had infinite missiles too itd be a good sidegrade on heists, sadly right now a good chunk of the vigilante's usefulness in them is speedrun type things, like elite challenges or other niche tricks

I agree. i love contact missions and can't understand why R* don't make them permanently double money to encourage people to play them. Having them randomly on 2x or 3x is not the answer because what R* don't tell you is that only first time players of the missions get the full bonus.
This is so true man! Respect to you explaining it. I also use it all the time and its really underrated.
And what is the upside down method?
As long as you’re not griefing, I don’t have any problem
But unless they're new to the game, a lot of the randoms you find know what they need to do and are actually pretty good
Us GTA veterans are literally the "back in my day" oldheads that actually struggled in the game 🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of the best memories on gta online come from the insurgent with a turret.
Wait seriously how much can it endure explosive’s both of them
Nowadays, the OG heists are just for fun, when you have friends to play. Still, would be awesome to get a boost on them, plus, the ability to play them solo or by two players.
Fun fact: The casino heist is classed as a contact mission
I’ve been going through the original heists just for the sake of completion. Oh my lord the pain. I spend 20-40minutes trying to get people to join/stay in the mission and about 10-20minutes to complete a single mission. Horrendous.
The original heists are some of the most fun you'll have for a group of 4 friends.
Only OG's remember the original Insurgents vs RPG's LTS on the Vinewood boulevard. It were fun times when playing with full lobbies.
I still use the original oppressor, as it is so much fun to ride around, especially in the mountain ranges.
The Doomsday Heists are something I still do. I do them if I'm bored, need some money and just feel like messing around

Bro I use the oppressed mk1 everyday
best vehicles for every: 1. Seminole
2. Seminole
3. Seminole
4. Seminole MKII
5. Seminole
6. Acid-Lab (Seminole 6x6)
7. Seminole
8. Seminole
9. Armored Seminole
10. Seminole
it has been removed but the Seminole 6x6, Seminole MKll and Armored Seminole is still in the game you buy them with gta +
It's actually crazy how unbalanced GTA is at this point
I remember doing contact missions until my biker products were ready. That’s old school grinding.
For low levels missions are good or at least ok start
I do quite enjoy doing that first FLEECA Heist still. It's a quick way to make a little money if you're only playing for a bit and it's my favorite way to meet new people or help out newer players.
The rest of those heists can get in the bin though.
Number 11: Griefing because of the KD changes
The original Opressor is so much fun, shame it's useless now when you have the Mk2.
It's not useless, it's far more fun to travel with the mk1 and can still do mostly everything you need. It just takes higher skill and more practice.
The “ta-ray-a-door”💀💀💀

:skull:
Honestly, the only real buff the original heists need is an option to play them solo. The payouts are fine for one person, but the main draw is how grounded and fun they are. They don't need to compete with Cayo Perico, they just need to have a solo option so that we can have fun with them.
Tgg speaks facts
Only thing I can add is that (unless it has changed since I tested it) the Toreador takes less damage than the Stromberg. When my friends and I tried it we found the toreador to take 4 missiles to the stromberg’s 5.
When you see a TTG video you know you have to click
Why
Stupid fanboy. Give me one good reason.
@@NFSBeast2365 well your here aren’t you? So you had to click on the video to come to the comments?
There is Acually a thing for the pacific standard heist, it’s called criminal mastermind challenge and u can get 10M
