I have a suggestion.....I know you like children enjoying your garden and finding it magical as they pass on their way to school.....I think setting up a little fairy garden that you add to during different seasons would be lovely for the passing children. I would tuck it under the snowball viburnum. Adding little things to the fairy garden every now and then or different holiday motifs would be fun for children or anyone who walks by. Doesn’t need to be elaborate to be exciting for children😊
Linda… you did a fabulous job with the camera as well as narrating. Such a joy to watch your garden explode with flowers and growth. I look forward to your videos so much.❤️
Linda, your garden is really coming along. What a difference in the last two weeks. It’s such a pleasure to see that so much has come back this being really the first year it’s a credit to you.
*sigh* I wish you were my neighbor or at least had a neighbor like you!!! I’m the ONLY ONE not just on my street but in the three square blocks where we live, am the only one who has a garden! I did inspire my one neighbor but then things happened and they’re no longer living there and the property got trashed😢 I hope whoever buys it will do something lovely there. But it’s sad to see that so many people still don’t garden they mow grass but that’s it. Your space is gorgeous. I do appreciate when neighbors walk by will stop and admire my front garden😊 I’m sure your neighbors just love walking past your place!!!
Bravo Linda the yard looks Fabulous I have been watching since you lived in the Fairytale House it's Amazing how everything is coming Alive you must be burting with Joy 😊❤
these little walkabouts in early morning spring sunshine are a tranquil treat!. Although we have had beautiful displays of daffodils , here on the other side of the Atlantic the emergence of spring flowering has been a little slower. How lovely to hear you host educational tours. The students get to gain the wealth of knowledge and life experience from you and in turn you gain innovation from them. I think it's uplifting and invigorating to surround ourselves with humans of all age groups, it's a trick missed by some people.
Everything looks beautiful ! I'm glad you dug up the plants that you did from the " old house" so they will be taken care of 😉!! The garden looks enchanting ! With love from Georgia ❤
Your garden is looking really beautiful. The pink with the yellow and lavender works as a vibrant Spring combination to me. I think it's a happy accident with the😀 early tulip blooms.
I agree with the lady just before here. My favorite is a Wed. walkabout in the lovely garden. Keeping all the flora and fauna in such good shape when it was just new last year is a major accomplishment but worked because of your knowledge and love of doing it. Did you know that Saunders Brothers of Piney River, Va., have developed the "NewGen" boxwood that also does not get the blight. Their bushes are beautiful. Just a plug for Virginians and nearby neighbors.
I too, love a cohesive color palette in my garden I have never been into reds or oranges . I gravitate to blues, pinks, purple and white. But at Christmas my favorite is red and white cyclamens with spilling variegated ivy in pots. So now I am ready for spring and those darn red cyclamen are cramping my style!!!! I try and just pinch off the red blooms, but keep the beautiful greens. Salvia is one of my most favorite plants here in California. Along with the prolific purple, wine and white geraniums for spectacular color with little to no effort. Your garden has exploded in two weeks!!! Amazing!
Thank you, Linda! I really enjoyed your walkabout. Your garden is looking lovely and bursting with spring surprises! 🌷🌷🌷 Here in Scotland the daffodils are beginning to bloom but we’ll need to wait quite a while for the tulips!! 🌹 I enjoyed pottering in the spring sunshine yesterday and then scribbling in my new garden journal! 🌸 Loving it already! Many thanks! 🪴🌼 🐝 🌳
Oh boy Linda the Spring has Spring in your garden look at all the pansies and tulips they are so beautiful. Thanks for giving us a tour you did great. Have a super weekend at the garden show in Indiana hope you can video it.
Oh my gosh Linda your garden is looking so beautiful ! Love the deep pink of those tulips and the color of the pansies with those tiny daffodils by the front porch are gorgeous !
Hi Spring is definitely in the garden. Love the redbud. So happy that your boxwoods are recovering. The colour palette of the tulips are perfect. I think more of the lilac pansies on the berms two sides next year will be stunning. Enjoy Indianna❤
Your garden looks gorgeous! I am inspired every time I watch your show. Also, thank you for recommending the book No One Gardens Alone. I ordered it and have enjoyed every page! ❤🌷
All doing well in front. I keep wondering about the Hollyhock seeds you planted out back beside the garage. Please show when able, I hope they germinated. Safe Travels to Illinois. 😊
Everything looks so lovely and fresh Linda, after all this is really the first year and all seem to have survived the freaky winter weather conditions! Love it and look forward to a tour of the Spring backyard!,Have a great time in Indiana this St. Paddy’s day weekend!☘️
The street view of the tulips and the pansy border are just beautiful. I know you've mentioned the pink tulips don't echo the other colors, but I think it is a perfect marriage, and the whole combination is a feast for the eye.
Everything is looking great and very spring ready! You did a great job showing us everything as well! Amazing the difference in the garden in just a couple of weeks, very encouraging!!🪴💚
Your garden looks SO good, and I am following your cues and using the LV journal to try to plan and purchase what we need for the garden. I was trying to figure out when you got most of the front plants in, and I found the video from 11 months ago, when so many plants were delivered. I feel better now, knowing we have a payday in the time frame. Thank you for just sharing so much! It’s incredibly helpful!
WONDERFUL to see everything waking up! I can't WAIT to do spring clean up and uncover my perennials, but I am SW of Cleveland. OH and we had snow on Sunday, so....
I am close to CLE Ohio also, we have had such a crazy warm winter my daffodils and hyacinths are in bloom! I know we will get a real cold spell soon and will kill of blooms budding early here. Hasn't Linda's garden in bloom just make you so happy ?
My Brunswick Hills daffs & tulips are just now coming up with a hint of buds. If they'd had opened they'd been smashed by that storm (with hail) last Wed.!
I know coveting is a sin, but oh, to have your garden, and your environment! Still small piles of snow here in BC. I love your “Minnie Pearl” tag on your plant! ❤
Linda, it would be nice to see a video on how you would decorate other people yards from a picture of their front/ back yard. I definitely could use your advice. Love your videos, Denetra Harris
Linda, when you discovered the plant that was growing in the garden that you couldn't identify, I wondered if you have ever gotten any volunteers from other gardens, from all the wind that you get there. We live in Boise, Idaho, and get our share of wind, and we currently have a few plants in our yard that we did not plant!😊
If you had a mole/vole problem how would you handle it? We have mole/vole tunnels that are ruining our brick walkways and now we have to re-do them, and we are a years older when we first put them in, so we are ready to annihilate those critters!
Yes they are an incredible aggravating and destructive nuisance and also kind of dangerous depending on how you look at it then make the ground uneasy to walk on and if someone has mobility issues like my parents or someone is uncoordinated and somewhat clumsy like myself LoL 😂 you can be tripped in a minute.... And we have tried several things to get rid of them.... And nothing seems to work..... I live in Central North Carolina and the vole's and mole's are everywhere !!!!!!!!
Your gardens are absolutely beautiful!!! I believe Springtime is my favorite season, all those beautiful colors on a bright sunny day with blue sky. SUch a welcome here in NE Ohio after the dreary dark, cold Winter. Here in NE Ohio I believe we are about a month behind you. My tulips are emerging but no blooms yet, daffodils are blooming.
Just got home from Lowe’s where I bought three of “your” little boxwoods and couldn’t resist one Encore Azalea, Autumn Fire. I’m going to give topiary a try thanks to your recent tutorial. I hope to say hi next weekend here at the OKC fairgrounds. Thanks for all your inspiration! Jan
You did a great job, Linda! I'm looking forward to being out in my garden in Michigan. A few tulips and hyacinths are beginning to show. First time I overwintered them! Yea!!
Every morning is like Christmas morning whenever you have a garden. It is so exciting to see seedling updates and new growth.
Agree ❤
@jordanyeager9220 I do and feel the same way! Going to the garden and looking for little changes is so exciting.
Quiet and intimate

great idea! Linda would make it very fun. Especially if she found thrift finds to use also!!
My favorite kind of Wednesday walkabout: just Linda with the camera and her narration. Thankyouthankyou!
It's hard to believe you've had one season in your garden. It is beautiful 🎉
Linda… you did a fabulous job with the camera as well as narrating. Such a joy to watch your garden explode with flowers and growth. I look forward to your videos so much.❤️

After watching this video I now know I need more boxwood in my life. Everything is looking so amazing!

Some really pretty shots in this video. Everything waking up from winter so pretty.❤
That growth by the sedum might be a dahlia that over wintered. I think you had one there last year. So maybe one of the tubers got left in the ground.
I watched this video last night --- I am awe of the spring flowers (thankyou) for sharing your yard and tips.
Oh my gosh Linda your garden is looking so beautiful ! Love the deep pink of those tulips and the color of the pansies with those tiny daffodils by the front porch are gorgeous !

This garden is the most beautiful I have seen. So charming. Just enjoy looking at it. You are the best❤ pat
I enjoyed this so much. You are an inspiration to me and I need that. Thanks!

I love the views from street level and along the side! The trees you put in also look beautiful. I don’t have a single daffodil or tulip blooming yet.
You did a great job, Linda! I'm looking forward to being out in my garden in Michigan. A few tulips and hyacinths are beginning to show. First time I overwintered them! Yea!!
