A few years ago I met an Australian guy who struck up a conversation with me and he asked me "Don't you want to go to Australia?" I told him, like you, we can't go to your country at will, right? That it needs a visa. IELTS for visa, I can't do it, he asks why I can't do IELTS, I said I can't speak English well, the guy says, but you speak well, 😂 I don't know what the hell.
:) Yeah there's a catch. Even if you are very fluent in English there's a very good chance that you may not make it through to the expected results. It's has a lot of technicalities. But on the other hand if you figure out the method, even if you are not very fluent, you can score.

It depends on the student. And there are so many institutes and tutors and they all have different teaching methods. I went to British Council first and it didn't help me much. But then I went to a private tutor and he seemed to be perfect for me. But it could be the totally opposite for you because al of us have different attention spans and ways of learning.
Hi akki, now I'm living in south korea and Im planning to apply university here. For that I have to go throught IELTS with 7.5. Kindly let me will it not be beneficial to apply from south korea itself since korean's pronouncian is bit differ. Im little confused since I can't trvel these days due to 2 months pregnancy
Hi nangi, I can totally relate to your situation because when I did IELTS for the 1st time I was 7 months pregnant and 2nd time I was 8 1/2 months. It was really challenging to sit for the whole duration of the test. Anyway for your question, I don't have any understanding about how IELTS exams work in South Korea. But I think all others will be the same except for the speaking test. I would advise you to consult a IELTS instructor in Korea to get an advice since it's better to face the exam after knowing all the details clearly.

I wouldn't recommend that, but i don't really know if that's the right thing to do
