  • As part of our Green your Neighbourhood campaign, we visited Byron Court in Nottingham to meet Marie and her fellow residents. During lockdown, Marie set out to make a difference in her community, organising event days and raising funds for planters, plants and wildflower seeds.
Marie's story is such an inspiration and shows that it only takes one person to get the ball rolling to transform a green space for the community and wildlife 💚
We'll be sharing even more films like this as part of our Green Your Neighbourhood campaign, so please like and subscribe to stay updated and become part of the #GreenYourNeighbourhood movement! 💚

    About Green your Neighbourhood:
We want to make it easy for people like you to take ownership of your local green space and take action that will benefit your local area, your community and wildlife. So we're unveiling a series of inspiring short films filled with practical tips and heartwarming stories, to help you make a difference in your community.
Green your Neighbourhood is being made possible thanks to a grant of £10,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players. The Wildlife Garden Project has been working alongside Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to film community groups involved in Nextdoor Nature Nottingham, the Trust’s movement for nature.
