  • In the third part of our series on Wildlife Friendly Vegetable Gardening, we're exploring how to create a sustainable and wildlife-friendly space. Whether you're part of a community garden or growing your own food at home, these tips will help you create a plot that provides food for people and wildlife whilst having minimal impact on the environment.

We speak to Andy Callow from Sherwood Garden Consultancy to find out:
    - How to provide for pollinators
    - How to provide habitat for wildlife
    - How to keep your plot sustainable

I've done this! I mostly love it, it's actually easier to garden this way. My German mother hates it because it's kind of messy, she prefers manicured with a lawn :D this year the rabbits got all of my pumpkins and squash, the deer tried to get my fruit trees, and the squirrels stripped my peach trees in 3 days.

So good to hear you're gardening this way already, although I hope you didn't mind sharing your vegetables with the local wildlife!
We like 'messy' although wildlife friendly spaces certainly don't have to be! 💚
