KingsWar 楚汉传奇 TV series, an epic made back in 2012 about the rise of the First Han Emporer Liu Bang, is interesting for many reasons. Liu Bang, the founder of the Han dynasty, was a peasant leader who rose from obscurity to found one of the longest-lived dynasties in world history.
In this scene from episode 55 Liu Bang displays his genius of opportunism - making the best of a bad situation.
As his war with Xiang Yu rages on Liu lacks warriors and has enlisted the help of a previous fence-sitter Chen Yu - who has promised him soldiers in exchange for the head of an ally Zhang Er.
