love u
this reminds me of traveling alone in Italy for a month in 2018. I used to listen to this song everyday, but the strongest memory that comes up is of traveling in a hot summer day through a golden wheat field in a empty and very old FIAT train with only two wagons and wooden benches
awesome memory
I bump this shit real loud in my whip to heal the city

to me, this is the track I listen to post workout, a little tired and just sitting outside in the sun. Headphones in, feeling the endorphin rush. class
I love when an acid track is so good it knows it can get away with being 12 minutes long
You should also listen to EOD - Retcho or AFX - Phonatacid :)
I never even noticed it was 12 mins long
Pretty sure there is a 20min version on Bandcamp
🤣
Not just an acid track - any quality track; almost as if time simultaneously slows down and speeds up, depending on your condition and usually someplace post 5am, you just gotta love it! 😃
A healing choon for lost ravers. This masterpiece is getting me through a very bad patch in my life at the moment. Sitting in my shed with this on full smoking a fat one. Peace
Spot on bud, same here! What ever u got going on hope you pull through.
Itll be alllll okay gents
Best wishes! Life's troubles are only temporary, it's how you pick yourself back up that matters. Cheers!
Ok, this made me laugh out loud. Right back at ya bud.

heard this for the first time 10 am in a house party during the pandemic. last song played. with the ending pads cranked up, mixed with the crackling of the vinyl. perfect ending

Sounds like a great night pal 👍
From an old acid man, this is fucking beautiful. Lovely Jubbly
This is what a 303 would play as it's dying, pure bliss
I love this comment so much, almost as much as I love the track

Still in Love with this track 😎👍
For the vinyl heads. Roy of the ravers released a new EP called “Melchester Acid EP”.
This Ep also has the track Emotinium.
Also there is another repress coming of 2L4L ep, currently taking pre orders on bandcamp
I'd like to thank the universe for the way this track has found it's way through the cosmos, drifting upon some ort cloud, and, in turn, incarnating my soul.

@@robertoegg It was 20€ on juno, you can still find it for more or less 25-30€. It's almost sold out
@@aazz18 yep found a copy of Melchester EP. At the time of posting, the only wax available was 4 of the original (or repressed? Not sure) slabs at £100 each...hence my comment.

Yessss!!! Got big love for this tune. I was looking through all my playlists wondering where it went. 🤙
Just did same
It's a weird old tale this one, much of which many of you have recounted. However, there's even more to it than you might imagine. That original Emotinium track by Ceephax is an utter classic. That other track called Emotinium by Roy Of The Ravers is also an utter classic. Then there's the Myoptik remix commissioned by Roy Of The Ravers. Plus there's the connection between the 3 artists. In 2008 Ceephax performed at Bloc Weekend more than once, landing his legendary Ceephax bingo. On the Saturday morning Myoptik and Ceephax bumped into each other outside the go-karts. Myoptik had a bottle of rum in his hand and Ceephax gratefully partook in the morning celebration when Myoptik handed him the bottle. Myoptik was in his usual yellow uniform, Ceephax was cracking jokes. All was good. However, that night, about 12 hours later, Myoptik saw Ceephax again and he was distraut. Someone had stolen his 303 from his chalet during an evening of revelry. Truly difficult times and very sad. After the weekend Roy Of The Ravers lent Ceephax his 303 for a while, the very one that Ceephax went on to use to make Emotinium. Later Roy Of The Ravers went on to play at Myoptik's 'PVC' event in Leicester where they shared the stage with their acid sounds. There was a previous 'PVC' by Myoptik in 2003 that Ceephax was due to play at, but the venue got closed down on the night of the event, so Myoptik refunded Ceephax's train ticket. A non-event. However, before that, in 2002, Ceephax played at another Myoptik affiliated event in Leicester called Auxilec organised by Steve Morgan, after the night Steve and Ceephax went to the after party at Myoptik's house where they looked at a homemade book of cut out pictures and stories made by Heinz Jaki-Volvo and Maggie Festering Cheese-Lowt which had weird images of pussy cats inside. So, as you can see there is a real continium to Emotinium......The Myoptik remix was finally released on the Learn To Brew with Roy Of The Ravers and Myoptik in 2019, it quickly sold out, and will be getting a vinyl re-release in 2020. Would you like to hear the Myoptik remix of Roy's Emotinium.....?

Thanks for the background, and sharing the link. I miss bloc so much...
@@5665ka me too, mad adventures they were. Such a shame that epic one on London Docklands turned into a disaster and ended it all. I was looking forward to seeing Ceephax's walzters in action!

My jaw has fallen off
I remember after me and my friend saw erol alkan play an all night set in which he played this track we l listened to it literally all the way home (roughly an hour drive) and it was great
Reminds me of Golden Girls - Kinetic
Every now and then I recall that there’s this beauty of a track waiting for me to be listened to. As soon as I type Ro… it pops up thankfully 💪I’ll never forget the name of this one, majestic stuff‼️for the love of acid 😎
such a beautiful TB line.. Spent quite a while recreating it on a TB-03 so I can just have that on loop for hours..
How was it going, only having 16 steps?
does the tb-03 have more?
@@neptune1411 you can only do it in song mode because it's 4 patterns long.
I used the tb-03 over my other options (tt-303 and td-3) because of the screen. Just makes it easier to know where you're at.
Just been redoing it on the td-3 in the desktop editor and that would have probably been easier. I originally started doing it in android Caustic3 but that was mainly just to get the timing and slides right.
The desktop interface for the td-03 is saviour!
Mind sharing the pattern in text form or something? I'm still learning my TD3 and this is one of the best, most intricate 303 lines ever, would love to pick it apart.
Healing vibes
Has to be my favourite 303 pattern.
What a sick melody

@@livacreative You do realise you're on UA-cam?
No internet underground Chris mate bloody hell
I agree with this treatment of the issue. Not a fan of the way that Acid Waxa took down the original upload and reuploaded with edited title and partially reversed audio. Kind of a passive aggressive move imo
They even removed a comment of mine jokingly pointing that out.
Ceephax is being a bit of a spaz about the title. It's a great song, inspired by him, that probably made Roy about fifty quid in royalties. I bet Andy has made more money from people mistakenly thinking he's the official acid crew of Ceefax. Just let it go mate.
People making acid house need to start naming more songs "Emotinium" just to carry the in-joke
@@xyz39808 this is the correct answer
I named my cat Emotinium. Try and stop me.
sweet mix
Heard this from the Aphex Twin set, mixed so smoothly into his set.
the one in Barcelona?
The perfect song for a dying down after party!
Brain massager 👍🏼💥
Is that confirmed to be a remix of Emotinium though, or is this just an assumption? The way i remember is that they just took the title, not the song itself. It just so happend that roy of the ravers made a "secret mix" of his own track, which he called emotinium and only ever released the remix.
This is the best piece of music ever made 🤯🤯
WHY IS THIS NOT ON SPOTIFY ANYMORE
it's back
this shit is so good jeeeeeeeez
Love this so much ♥

Well said
Absolute legend Cressup thank you for showing this masterpiece to me!
@@appleOgreen haha no bother
i can't find this on spotify :(
just download it man lol
A MASTERPIECE.
i have a theory as to why it was removed from spotify/distros:
either
1. the 2l4l pressing on emotional response fucked up the ownership/licencing of this track OR
2. it was flagged falsely by the distro as being ceephax's track once the track got enough plays to be notced by moderators/auto moderation at the licencing company. this is not something ceephax has any control over btw its just one of the problems with duplicate track names.
if it wasnt either of these and a decision by roy or acid waxa, id feel a bit let down..but at the end of the day its their choice.
A fountain of youth and energy at every (!) serious after hour
Dio esiste
