Thanks for posting this. Just booked LAX-SEA-PEK for later this year and we'll be on the A330-300 in Business Class. Excited to be on this airline and super excited to be going to PEK!
@@qf2994 Which part? We flew Alaska first class, which was great from LAX to SEA. Hainan from SEA to PEK and the service was terrific then, this was 5 years ago now.
Air China gives 46kg of baggage in Economy and are cheap. Their meal service is fine and crew diligent. They have really improved. I think the other Chinese airlines are much the same.
I haven't been to many international lounges but my favorite domestic lounge in the usa so far is united's lounge at lax. Love your reviews. And you're super cute.
SilverKris in T3 at SIN. There's that warm, fuzzy, familiar feeling whenever I step in there, be it for long-haul or short-haul trips. Food there has always been great too! I tend to find a good balance of western and Singaporean dishes on the buffet line (:
i always enjoy watching your reviews. I want you to try and give review about Japanese Airline like JAL or ANA. for example, if you fly JAL from Beijing to LA, you can experience B767 and B777.
Hi Josh, how are you? There are two new routes from Dublin, Ireland which have opened this Summer 2018. Dublin to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific and Dublin to Beijing with Hainan Airlines. These commenced only a few weeks ago, and are the first time both airlines have flights to Dublin, and these are the first direct flights connecting China with Ireland. You might try them and review. Thanks.
Star Alliance lounge in LAX and the Delta Sky Club in JFK T4 are the best two I have been. LAX lounge have better food but JFK has newer lounge itself and great shower room~ Love your videos
My favorite lounges are (1) Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt (frequent it frequently); Qantas lounge Sydney and Cathay Pacific The Pier in Hong Kong
definitely Cathay Pacific first class lounge the pier and the the wing as well as they offer caviar , excellent video my friend looking forward to new videos
Impressive to see Western cabin crew on-board. Are these on all their flights or just European? Also, I thought Hainan Airlines brought out a new stylish uniforms (?). Nice video mate, well done!
FJG FJGu As a western Cabin crew of Hainan Airlines, I can answer your question. The foreign Cabin crew working for Hainan Airlines are mostly working on international flights (and partially on domestics) and in Business class. About the new uniform, it will be released when we will pass to the summer Season and summer uniform. It is actually used for inaugural flights during this time :) I hope that I could answer your questions. Have a nice day !
I love them and they fly from SYD bus class to China for 2k usd -mazing and after living in working in China they are safe and thorough about many things and like the expat pilots Europeans etc and I used to fly so know they are safe and technically thorough on safety and regulations
Easily the best lounge in China but that's not hard and they do want to be the best so we support them like you-it is a no brainer for me even though I am CZ Elite plus
Josh, perhaps you could share with your viewers as to if you are stationed in Asia for work or ?? and perhaps your occupation and if that requires you to travel. Just a suggestion. 😉
I enjoy your commentary! 2 suggestions: 1. Please don't fast forward through take off & landings. (I know this one was a night flight, though!) The view out the window is how viewers get a good sense of the different airports and locations. Otherwise, airports and airplane interiors and skies at cruising altitudes all look nearly the same. 2. Please travel to some smaller, unusual destinations. It seems like every aviation geek flies the same airlines to the same hubs. Set yourself apart by flying to cities that haven't been visited. That's my 2 cents worth!
My favorite lounges to date are: Cathay Pacific Wing F and Pier F in Hong Kong. They are tied because the offer different things. Cathay Pacific F lounge at Heathrow's terminal 3, then BA's CCR and Galleries First lounge in terminal 5. I look forward to trying the Qantas F soon.
The pier in Hkg is definitely one of the best. Another top lounges in my opinion are Thai Airways First Class Lounge in BKK. BA Concorde room at LHR and JFK.
They fly 787 series Beijing to Manchester and Moscow seasonly. For full year service, 788 Chongqing to Rome, 789 from Shanghai to Brussels (to Tel Aviv as well if you count it an European city). Starting April this year, Hainan will fly to BRU from Shenzhen, the city next to Hongkong, using their 788/9 twice weekly. Hope the info help :)

And how was it? 😅

I flew from Beijing to Tel Aviv, it was a great airline with decent inflight entertainment compared to other airlines in China
Hainan is wayyyyy better than Air China and China Eastern...
Agreed. Air China served me seafood spaghetti with spoilt cheese and disgusting lumps of green stuff
China Southern is okay, China Eastern is worse, and Air China really sucks......
Cuz CA MU and CZ are all nationalised, only Hainan is private

I like the China eastern lounge in T1 of Hongqiao Airport Shanghai, which is for international flights to Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul.

Hainan airlines looks very elegant!!!
Alfredo Gtz their service is very good.but cabin is otherwise.it looks cheap.
The international crew is coming partly from MALÉV and airberlin 😊

My favourite lounge is the Qantas Lounge at Singapore.

Love the Concorde Room at Heathrow Terminal 5. Ever travel to NYC?
Great video!!

The staff work hard but hope they get rid of the 2/2/2/ seating on some 330s they fly to SYD
Love your vidoes in voiceovers
Great review, but have argue that the Hong Kong lounges compete for best in country 😁 Doha lounges are epic globally and they have a pool!!
Flying to Prague? looks like you are going to visit your mummy!

Hey Josh,
Thanks for the great videos this year. I just wanted to know why you chose to live in Beijing?
For 2018:
* Can you fly here to Toronto, Canada
* Maybe touch on a new continent as well
Your videos are great!
By the way, come to Montreal! AC has a new route between Montreal and Tokyo.

Don't they fly 787-8 as well to Europe? At least to Brussels...
