I was only around 9 or 10 at the time and didn’t understand the value of collecting. If only I had known. I used to see all of the figurines at Media Play every other week for a few years.

Great video, I have recently pulled some of my old figures down from the atric.for my kids to play with and they love them. I still have Ada wong with the plant figure, Hunk and the zombie, William Birkin and Sherry. I might try to build the set over time as it's getting me all nostalgic!😂 My dad brought me some of these figures when I was in hospital as a kid because RE2 is.my all time favourite game. I actually recently got the Limtoys Leon which is pretty expensive but it's a really cool figure.

I had T-103 (Mr.X) and both of the William Birkins. I fucking loved these figures they were SO sick. Looking back the William in his 2ns form looks exactly how they designed him in the remake. Like the detail in the figure is in the model they did in the remake it’s pretty crazy. At the time they also made Final Fantasy 8 figures and I recall getting both Odin and Bahamut. Such sick ass figures I remember...damn, now that I think about it they were way ahead of their times! I’m glad I grew up in the 90’s (not just part of it but all of it, as I was already 6 in 1990). I definitely wouldn’t trade lives with any kid these days, things were just better growing up prior to technology getting crazy and that’s fact. We didn’t have the internet in the way we do now and we were all the better for it. People trusted each other a lot more back then, everybody wasn’t looking to get one over on someone else and the world was just a happier place. Then things like the Oklahoma City bombing, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the major recession of 2008 all happened. Man, oh man...people though 2008 was bad, they’re not going to know what hit them once reality strikes after this flu ends and the economy is in SHAMBLES. This is going to be so so much worse than 2008. It’s going to be a full on depression and we will be wishing it was just a recession. I almost bet more people will end up killing themselves than deaths caused by this virus in this country. In the 20’s during the original Great Depression, people were offing themselves left and right...with it easier to commit suicide now (overdoses, proliferation of guns, the internet itself for ideas), it’s gonna be much worse by comparison. Oh back on the topic of the toys lol...I can’t believe you bought that lot without William Birkin’s G3/G4 alternate head!!! That’s like half the toy bro.. You bought Mr.X IN-STORE back when it was released in late 90’s? Firstly you definitely don’t sound like my age (35/mid 30’s), so thats crazy. Secondly...WHERE did you find it in a store back in those days? I don’t recall any stores selling these, at least not the major ones in California like Toys’r’us, K.B.Toys, Target or Walmart. They definitely did not have any “anime” type stores back then cause stuff like that was at the top of the list for making you a nerd/bully bait lol. I personally bought my 3 figures on eBay when it used to be f’n awesome, just like my FF8 figures.
I wish they made a figure line like this again. I really want figures of birkin g1 and also Leon. I'm a huge resident evil fan and I wish they made figures like these because these are really expensive figures.
In case it wasn't answered. The revolver that Claire is holding is the single action "cowboy" type of revolver. It is a secret in OG RE2, I believe if you get to the RPD without using a healing item or shooting/using your knife. You can go under the little bridge and zombie Kenneth will be there (he was transformed to a zombie by nemesis in OG RE3-sick cut scene). If you kill Kenneth after completing the steps above, I believe he drops it or it will be in your item box.

You mean Brad, not Kenneth. Kenneth died in RE:1 Brad in RE:3. If you make it to the police station as Claire without picking up a single item Brad will be there in the underpass. Kill him get the 🔑 to the locker in the safe room near the stairs.

I was born in 2006 and I was 14 when I found out about these. My dad had 3 and he gave them to me. He first gave me William burkin g3/g4 and it's complete. And he gave me the zombie dog but it wasn't good because the pieces keeps coming off. Then my dad did a game with me and my siblings of what to get in a box of toys he was giving away and he was giving away the licker. My sister was gonna get it but I told her she doesn't do resident evil so I got it. He got them at this toy store he works at. It's called Jayden's toys and he's the manager over there. It's located in Texas.
Remembered being confused as fuck with RE 1 figurine weapons. Chris' just looks like a mix of grenade launcher/ bazooka/ rocket launcher but the projectile looks like flames. Jill's look like a bulky flamethrower what with the fuel canister but rocket projectile....
I also don't really like the fact that they are really not articulated so basically you can't make them dual wield shotguns and other weapons. And also Birkin g1, Wesker, and Barry were never added to the mix. It would be amazing if we got those and we also got some re3 figures. Palisades and Moby Dick Toys have really good figures but they're really hard to come by.
I remember getting a leon and chris from kb toys as well as getting the mortal kombat movie at sun coast for getting my tonsils taken out.
