It's actually a pretty healthy mindset to have. It takes you out from the victim perspective and it empowers you to not let anyone treat you like that again. In a toxic dynamic both parties have toxic behaviours. One taking advantage of the other and the other letting them because of their own inner struggles. Once you get them in order you're like "yeah, next time I hear someone saying those things to me I'm gonna stand up for myself and get away from people like that because it's my responsibility to take care of myself and I'm capable and willing to do it"

The thing about people is that they only take the things seriously that they personally go through. Most of the time if it doesn’t effect them then people don’t care. People tend to be selfish. People still don’t pay attention to the discrimination unattractive people go through, people with mental health, or anything that doesn’t fit society’s standards. Some people seriously struggle with patience and empathizing with others to the point the actions of others make them angry since they don’t understand. I really feel like this all falls under one issue: not teaching our children how to have compassion or empathy for others and the world is not black and white.
It's more and way worse than just "height discrimination" though. Nik has Dwarfism and it has a lot of real life complications that come with it, like having to have tons of complicated surgeries, such as brain surgery.

Not to mention, David was the king of vlogging, everyone loved him, he has power in the money he has. Which means less people are going to speak about him in a bad light. Nobody told their story as far as how it affected their actual lives. So people assume... here are all these young adults, choosing to collaborate and create this content. I will say that I saw this coming for a long time. 9 out of 10 times young kids are not equipped for come-ups of David's magnitude. And they don't realize that all those views they get are from real people - the same people that will go on to eventually be the ones scrutinizing every little movement. I was bullied in school and I gave my allowance away on snacks for mean girls every weak cause I wanted them to like me because my best friend was adopted into their group and I didn’t want to lose her friendship either. they gladly let me treat them every time but they would make fun of me behind my back until someone told me what they were doing. I have more respect for myself now but I still struggle with some things.

It's actually a pretty healthy mindset to have. It takes you out from the victim perspective and it empowers you to not let anyone treat you like that again. In a toxic dynamic both parties have toxic behaviours. One taking advantage of the other and the other letting them because of their own inner struggles. Once you get them in order you're like "yeah, next time I hear someone saying those things to me I'm gonna stand up for myself and get away from people like that because it's my responsibility to take care of myself and I'm capable and willing to do it"

I think people don't take height discrimination seriously. It's something you can't control and it's very much real thing.
The thing about people is that they only take the things seriously that they personally go through. Most of the time if it doesn’t effect them then people don’t care. People tend to be selfish. People still don’t pay attention to the discrimination unattractive people go through, people with mental health, or anything that doesn’t fit society’s standards. Some people seriously struggle with patience and empathizing with others to the point the actions of others make them angry since they don’t understand. I really feel like this all falls under one issue: not teaching our children how to have compassion or empathy for others and the world is not black and white.
It's more and way worse than just "height discrimination" though. Nik has Dwarfism and it has a lot of real life complications that come with it, like having to have tons of complicated surgeries, such as brain surgery.

I totally believe they talk badly behind each other's backs. There's a mukbang on Ugh It's Joe's channel, who I think is one of the nicest most genuine members in which Ilya texts Jason telling him they should pretend to fake a phonecall so they can leave. Then Jason read it outloud and exposed Ilya, but small things like that show me they're kinda mean in private
Illya does seem fake and materialistic and Joe is just a ball of happiness and joy.

I feel bad for this guy, he really is still so wrapped up in David being a good guy. This was a circular conversation that didn’t accomplish much.
