Your channel is a bible for learning funk guitar. Please keep posting more videos! You are amazing!! Also could you please make a lesson on triplets in funk?
Thank for this lesson. I really enjoy your videos! But I was working on the one liner at the start of the video and I am wondering if the single line musical notation you wrote is actually what you are playing. I am hearing you play four muted clicks after the initial 6 notes but the notation shows three. Am I wrong? Thanks again.
Yes you’re correct, the G is coming on the ‘and’ rather than the ‘e’, and there’s one less muted noted after those 4 fretted notes. It still worked though. Cool lesson!
Great tutorial. Your a fine teacher, sir!
Thank you!
The way you explain things and deliver the information is extraordinary! No confusion, no mess. So glad that youtube offered me your channel.
Thank you so much!

Prince: hold my bass
A good funky and groovy sound, in the pocket. What make and model is your guitar?
Thanks! It's a Chapin T-Bird.
Can this funk rhythm playing be done without a pick? I just don't really use a pick much
As long as it’s funky, it can be played with or without pick, though certain iconic funk sounds can only be achieved with a pick.

Good catch! Thanks!
Hey man I think the notation on 3:21 is a little off. I think the G natural is coming on the AND of 3 🤐
Yep you’re correct. That was a typo.
I noticed you mentioned it right after 😅 thanks for the content though man! Very helpful 🙏🏽 @@JameyArent
