I've seen a couple of critical comments on here, Tom. Please remember how many positive ones there are as a proportion and don't respond when it's just negative criticism. I've just listened to your book (brilliant, btw) and know how it affects you, especially when you're under stress. Please dont let the 1% of negative comments affect you. 99% of us love you! Best wishes to Jo, Harvey and the Ginger Warrior too.
Awwww look at how happy they are playing in the sawdust, so lovely to see happy cows in a great barn in dire weather and difficult to manage conditions. Tom don’t be too down about it, Mother Nature beats to the sound of her own drum and some years are much better than others. Just be happy in the knowledge that you are gradually future proofing the farm, it’s expensive work and if I ever win the lottery I’ll be roofing the midden for you and building another barn. Keep at it, labour issues will never be solved as long as we have an entire generation that doesn’t know what work is, just know that when you come to retire yourself, you’ll be able to stand in your own fields and say to Harvey as you hand him the keys that “I built this for you son”‼️
We have the same problem over here (U.S.) new generations don't, for the most part, get the work thing. Too much is handed to them. You start paid work in high school. Learn the jobs thing early!
Glad to see the Ginger Warrior is following his Wife and Doctor’s instructions! He looks FANTASTIC!!! Great video Tom! This too shall pass! Extra LOVE❤❤ to your wife Joanna and son Harvey!! God’s Blessings on you all!!!!
Keep looking for new staff. Sooner or later the investment of time and energy will pay off. Worth checking on the reasons. Sometimes it can be difficult with 2 bosses if they ask for different things to be done. And some farms are always at 100mph, whilst others are more relaxed but don’t break so much, aim to maintain things and can get just as much done. Some staff will suit one or the other but maybe won’t appreciate how you work until they work for you and younger staff will have less experience of either situation but desperate to get on. Get one that’s compatible with you and look after them and they will pay you back handsomely.
I love those happy cows! Tim, new pics of Harvey: he's growing! He has hair, OMG! He looks so much like you. I see it in the eyes. Hello to family! Glad mostly everybody is well. 😊❤
Glad you kept everything together and it worked out in the end. Love seeing the happy cows kick off. Too bad your fields are so wet, hope it’s a blessing later. Love and prayers 😇💜
Tom thanks for your hard work and dedication to dairy farming and vlogging your work and your family life! Could we please have an update on the Ginger Warrior and your wife?
Hi Tom & dad hope you are resting well & your feeling much better after your surgery because I had the same & now I’m much better, but don’t over do it because you will feel it & don’t lift anything to heavy 😊
What a great video!!! Triumph over Adversity. So many things out of your control, the weather, Dad’s surgery, illnesses, shortages in materials and help, but things are looking brighter. Love your team…Luke, Katie, Anna. You now know you can lean on them. Always look for the solutions. To Sunny Days ahead.🌞🐄
Tom you looked a bit stressed mate , hope you and ALL your wonderful family are ok and there’s nothing family wise on your mind take care great video as always ❤️👍
With as much rain as you have gotten have you thought of growing rice! Wow you've had a lousy year of rain. Chin up and keep forward. Give our love to Joanna and Harvey.
Tom you are a legend !! Keep going. We love seeing every part of the farm and that includes the lows aswell as the ups !! Ever need a volunteer and free labour. just tell where I can stick a tent and I’ll come for a week !!
I feel for you with all the rain. I'm in the Boston, Massachusetts area, and it's been raining too much since the beginning of March. There are ponds now in 2 of my neighbor's yards and in my basement where they don't belong. I'm only a backyard gardener, and it's screwing up the process. I can only imagine how frustrating and debilitating it is for you! 😵
Your the best Tom. No matter what you get through the day and get the job done. Love your videos and truly appreciate your honesty on farming and the work that needs to be done. I fully appreciated the food and dairy I eat and drink everyday because of all the hard work you and all farmers put into the industry. It’s not an easy life or job. Sending hello’s to your family and workers. Mr. Pemberton, hope you’re feeling better and healthier. ❤❤
If I didn’t live in America, I would come apply for a job on your wonderful farm. My grandparents were dairy farmers and those times on their farm were some of the most memorable of my Life. Wishing you and your family good juju from the state of Michigan. I never miss a video.
A very challenging spring this year ,Very few cattle out here in Cork as well as very little field work. Not so easy to keep things in perspective. Take care
Best of luck on finding good farm hands you want to work for YOU!! I would be a great thing to learn. Hopefully you find them soon!! Didn't see as much Anna as we want. She needs to stay in your hip pocket!!
Take some time for yourself when you can. I worked myself to the bone when I was younger, also consider radios for all the equipment you just keep inside and charged if possible. Then you can communicate between the different team members.
It's great you sorted the parlour and the barn out before these horrific rains. You can now use all that time you saved tipping the muck in the fields. 😉
Hey Tom, I never comment on videos but thought I would with yours - was just saying to my wife how well you edit the videos and the soundtracks are great - you may have missed your calling. Keep up the excellent work - farm life is inspirational and even when you are at 50%, it beats an office!
Been farming for 25 years in NZ finding great reliable people to work with is a issue here to. Crap weather always brings the mood down on staff and myself but its all forgotten when the suns out and field work begins. Love the channel Tom
If I was 30 years younger my husband and I would be volunteering to come work on the farm. We haven’t worked on the farm since the 80’s. Never know you’re going to miss it until you don’t have it anymore.
I really miss my days working on an arable farm, the job satisfaction you get from farming what ever sort is incredible. It's a way of life more than a job and a fantastic way of life at that.
It seems you might be able to channel some of your barn roof runoff away from the driveways and work areas to help eliminate some of the standing water. There is considerable surface area on that roof that just ends up in your work area.
Commenting to support the video and the channel is always. Great job team on the bed up and the workflow that y’all did together was amazing and ginger guy. If you read the comments, we love you be well be you
one of these days some one is going to slip and be impaled on the the attachment on the machine! please place the attachment flat on the floor when not running . be safe
OhhHh nooooooooo. I'm so sorry. We will all miss Uniek. A special horse. A very sad day. Little Belle, thank you dear Coralle. Risey ❤. So sorry Yvonne ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We are really lucky here in Northwest Illinois as far as bedding goes. We are able to bale up a couple of hundred bales of corn stalks after we combine for grain. We just dump them into the manure and use the beaters to spread them out in the sheds.

Let’s all appreciate the music Tom uses in his videos!!❤
OllyBlogs says don't forget the yard brush that's still sitting in his yard
Touché 😂👏
Great video Tom - what’s the latest on your dad ?

Keeps your spirits up Tom, better weather is coming, and with that hopefully spirits will rise
Great to have such brilliant neighbours, handy having the digger to keep the pile pushed back and an extra tractor drawing.😊😊
Glad you kept everything together and it worked out in the end. Love seeing the happy cows kick off. Too bad your fields are so wet, hope it’s a blessing later. Love and prayers 😇💜
Great to see your dad back on his feet
Heated seat switch might be on the top corner on back of the seat 👍
Tom thanks for your hard work and dedication to dairy farming and vlogging your work and your family life! Could we please have an update on the Ginger Warrior and your wife?
Hi Tom & dad hope you are resting well & your feeling much better after your surgery because I had the same & now I’m much better, but don’t over do it because you will feel it & don’t lift anything to heavy 😊
A farm in our neighborhood is using separated slurry to bed up their cows, maybe you could try it for your beaf cattle

Hi Tom and Tom’s dad and Katie and all on the farm hopefully you r well and feeling good today 🚜🐗
You show everything Tom, that’s what I appreciate the most. Keep ya chin up fella. 👍👍🇬🇧

Really enjoy the music. Your heading into spring whilst in NZ we have autumn storms. Rainy weather everywhere.
Love farmers! Busy day Tom. Good show
Great video. Hope the sawdust works well
Watching with this on my telly and my 2 year old is loving pointing out every time there is a tractor on and shouts “ack-or”
Love seeing happy Cows ❤

Tom you need to start painting or using a sticker on the side of the Hurliman for each drone you break....
He will soon run out of room! 🤣🤣

Lol!
For every drone he breaks he has to give something away.

If we get any wetter your going to need snorkels and flippers to send them out in the fields. It’s class seeing them jump around on new bedding.
Great video , keep it going tom your smashing it 👍
the heat on the kramer seat should be on the backrest. on the left side.
Your very lucky to have LUKE.?
Great video as always Tom
Sending me angels big guy. Much love.
For the JCB do an on line search for the manual if nothing else pull the fuse for the seat if not attached to something else.

Happy cows. They've got lots of energy and can run on the clean floor with sawdust down to keep them from slipping.
Charlotte does amazing videos like u olly and Dove Farms
13:00 had a lough Anna shouting at cows in the background like a sirene 🤣
14:25 you say "they broke out".... I say "DON'T FORGET TO SHUT THE GATE" 🤣🤣🤣
The only thing missing was the words of wisdom from Father. I hope he is feeling better, and back to educating us in the video’s soon. 👍
Could you use solids from seperator as bedding if kept undercover ?
Hello Tom You are all doing a great job. But I think you should leave your bucket and spikes on the ground for safety.
Love the video music and of course your content 😀😀😀
