It is based on a novel "Vaishali ki Nagarwadhu " means The Whore Of Vaishali kingdom, written by Acharya Chatursen a renowned novel writer based on a real story of a whore " Amrapali" who was a dancer in King's palace and later when she met Lord Buddha she became a follower of him and quit everything and gone behind Buddha forever.

If you made a mistake, would you want someone to correct you with an attitude or in a way that is respectful? There was no need for that “ok”. Especially since the person was really respectful and trying to express their love and appreciation for the actress.
So back in the day women were more physically active and fit in movies than men to be able to do these intricate dance moves, while men just had to sit there and smile, while they also get paid a lot more than the actresses.

And people who have complain over the short dress. Let me tell u in ancient Bharat women were not treated as a sexual object. They were well respected.
