and the metaphors with them are so good, like how in "you'll be gone" the most common fish is an angler fish - one that looks bright and friendly until you get close. just like what the song is about!
YonKaGor is genuinely one of my favorite artists ever, i’m glad you checked them out :3 I recommend checking out their other songs too because they can vary a lot in style
Video title: "I was wrong..." First song: "You'll be gone" I'm not sure if it was intentional to have the two not only rhyme, but share the same syllable count
Even though I'm not a furry, I still listen to YonKaGor's songs and almost everything that he made was added to my playlist. And thanks to him, I also know kennyoung that does a great job too, especially his song "Ready to say". Also, Ivycomb music with his "ANTIHUMAN" song or "Blue bird feat. YonKaGor". Also, even though I didn't like it, I think someone might love the music that Scratch21 does. I recommend all these artists to listen. YonKaGor, kennyoung, Ivycomb Music and Scratch21
@@weirdnerdygoat Umm basically it is from a certain "corn" website that has 621 in its name... Yeah... Just don't try to find out. Just imagine that 621 is a just funny number like 69.
Me too. Maybe that's because people knows Ivy more because of he's also a really entertaining Vtuber? In any way, Ivy is very talented. And he's personally my favorite musician
Tbh music as a whole is kindove like that especially furry music because there is a lot of furry stereotypes out there that make people not even want to try out watching furry content its kindove sad tbh
I mean I started making music when I was like 8 on LBP, I'm now using the Auxy DAW, and it's good to hear there are hundreds of furry producers around the world, they maybe are posting for fun but I can conclude their music is very underrated, just imagine, Scratch21, Yonkagor, Verplex and other furry music composers, it's just very crazy.
I think the answer you're looking for is some people are amazing and some people are cringe, and one's furry-ness is simply an aspect or inspiration of the artist rather than the causing factor for good or bad.
YonKaGor's music is actually really good, each line actually has alot of thought put into them and takes into consideration of real life factors. My favourites are "You're Just Like Pop Music" and "Circus Hop" because of all the deeper meanings encased in translucent shell that can only be broken if you are observant enough. In circus hop, "The cackling carousel, it spins and never stops" "the cackling carosel" is a metaphor for the world and all its evils; also in reference to how the world keeps on going even if they want it to stop/slow down and in You're just like pop music, "Our message count is less than three" Implies that despite tetra not talking much with the person, they still like the person, as less than three makes the sign
I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but the first song (You'll be Gone) is partially in 7/4, which makes it even cooler that YonKaGor managed to create an absolute bop in an irregular time signature
True, on that note I have to recommend two gems from two of my favorite artists: Convexity - as time goes on MrKoolTrix - Supersquad seriously they are both great, everyone go listen to their shit, NOW!!
4 artists, 4 song recommendations: Renard (I'm a fan of jackal queenston. Drum & Bass that DEFINITELY goes hard, my favorite song being "back home") Ken Ashcorp (personal favorite: "Supernatural") Jonkagor (Now referred to as Yonkagor, he for some reason changed his name, song favorite: "You'll be gone X Megalovania") Ivycomb has a lot of hits; only some misses (Personal song favorite: "LDR")
As much as I prefer non-lyrical songs, YonKaGor is pretty much my first taste of lyrical songs I’ve enjoyed and will listen to willingly in about 4 years
Renard is only one, and there are much more labels under Halley Labs (all music created by a single person which is insane). Every label is a different character with both unique visual design and it's own music style, so i recommend to listen some more of them! (greenhouse, mayhem, the queenstons, klippa, kitsune^2, deuteronomy) There are a LOT of unpopular musicians, for example Coyotlito - Lone Skater which are hugely underrated
Renard is just one of many aliases. His K² (Kitsune Squared) albums are are much more conventionally pleasing. But YourEnigma and Scratch21 do some good stuff too though.
No idea how I ended up here. Somehow I end up at furry content creators a lot. And I’m not even one. Yonkagore is great, found them randomly due to UA-cam mix and it was “you’re just like pop music” then I found “you’ll be gone” and I liked it as just music I’d hear on the radio. Also I love the fish, they always appear and are usually different fish. Also fun Fact, Yonkagore preforms live on vr chat at like furry cons and stuff. Which means they can sing that shit on command, which is just cool. Thank you community tab that shows when new songs are coming. Also another furry that I know, due to watching them on Twitch is Ivycomb. They have Ivycomb music, which is a mix of originals and fandom songs best way to say. They did all the music and sang it themselves, they also will do some of the art depending on how it’s done. Great guy, and some music has lore to their characters and secrets. Check them out. Don’t get me started on Retrospector, bro knows how to remix songs. Tho they make their own originals too. If there’s a game or something that comes out with cool music, he’ll play the game and then remix it if he likes it. Along with some of his friends Kamex and SharaX( does tons of meme songs like tf2 spy furry) who do similarly cool remixes.
I love furry music. (even though I only listen to 2 artists of the genre) It has inspired me so much as a music artist. Who knows, maybe in the future my music will make someone else smile.
I see lots of YonKaGor mentioned which is good, Kennyyoung is new to be but damn there's some good music from there too. Defiantly recommend Ken Ashcorp just banging music there, Scratch 21 is really good too, only one missing is Vylet Pony, I mean it's not pop but she got alot of good music, sure pony themed but it's still good. Pretty sure most people in the furry community are already old enough and if "pop" isnt exactly your theme, I would recommend Pepper coyote just for THAT one song. Furry indie can be a huge mixed bag and with how bad big music lable does with their content I'd say more to furry indies, keep making'em, making'em availabe(bandcamp) and I'll keep buying them.
my favorite furry music artist has gotta be The Quick Brown Fox. technically the same artist as Renard, Lapfox Trax goes by way too many aliases, but The Quick Brown Fox has my favorites of theirs. (edit); actually I forgot about femtanyl, I think they're furry? and their music is absolutely AMAZING in my opinion, I LOVE their album called CHASER, and especially the 2 songs P3T and GIRL HELL 1999
late to the party but I also love patricia taxxon, music that I can hold in my hands and play with is so much fun. as others have said, ivycomb and yonkagor are great. technically not furry, but vylet pony(specifically lesbian ponies with weapons and also nonexistent meet-cute) are nice as well. also femtanyl(girl hell 1999) but I haven't gotten very far into their music yet so idk abt their other tracks. take care y'all.
LapfoxTrax is a LEGEND among furry musicians. Even as a non furry there is no way you havent heard at least one of their songs (they have like more than one thousand or something btw lol)
Have you seen Ivycomb Music? No proof if it's furry music but the art they use looks like furry art The songs by them I like is "system error" And "blue bird" ft. Yonkagor
Ivycomb, Kennyong, Scratch21, and Yongkagor are the horsemen of furry pop
RetroSpector, Kamex, SharaX are iconic Remixers for me. They are the trio that can remix the same song and each one hits different.
May I suggest NIIC? :3
Well, not really ivycomb, they have said multiple times they aren't a furry
@@Conndalf They're quite the comedian then
im just gonna put foxes and peppers / and pepper coyote in there
Glad you liked YonKaGor as much as I do! I hope you get to enjoy alot of their other songs too as they are quite lovely to listen to :)

Lol nice
I listen to Yongkagor and Ken Ashcorp myself. Ken's "Hunter" was a good one. Yongkagor's "You're like pop music" was a real bop and I LOVED IT!!

My favourites are "You're Just Like Pop Music" and "Circus Hop" because of all the deeper meanings encased in translucent shell that can only be broken if you are observant enough.
In circus hop, "The cackling carousel, it spins and never stops"
"the cackling carosel" is a metaphor for the world and all its evils; also in reference to how the world keeps on going even if they want it to stop/slow down
and in You're just like pop music, "Our message count is less than three"
Implies that despite tetra not talking much with the person, they still like the person, as less than three makes the sign
Furry music can be good.
My examples: Ivycomb and YonKaGor
OMG you’ll be gone, this song makes me excited every time I watch it or listen to it. Idk what causes this the animation, the song itself or the music
I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but the first song (You'll be Gone) is partially in 7/4, which makes it even cooler that YonKaGor managed to create an absolute bop in an irregular time signature
I could I would make music but I'm too lazy to do it in decent time
As a big renard fan, Dracula is probably one of the most satire renard songs. Also, you should make a part two and please include Patricia taxxon
These videos have more effort than some triple A works :3
I might also suggest Ivyvomb, Personal faves being "Forgotten" and "Tokyo"
