Thank you for saying that you donated what you could. I see these tv shows where they act like kids breaking up stuff and putting it in a dumpster. Habitat For Humanity takes all this.
Just got into home improvement. Been working with my father in law this past year and I’m ready to take on my own task! Your videos are amazing and I’m learning more and more and can’t wait to start my first project
I love that you did this on your own. I've subbed because you deserve it for your hard work! I do this every day but 5 to 10 bathrooms a day as I'm a apartment redeveloper. NEVER CHOOSE YOUR OWN FINISHES. You'll get better results letting someone else scope the finishes.
Thank you for this efficient and quick video to show us what's what. I don't plan to do this myself but I do like the idea of the shower surround to not only keep the shower clean for those of us who dislike trying to keep tile grout pristine. But I also like that the surround is a cost saver.
Looks nice. An option for around the shower walls instead of patching drywall is to use 5 1/4 inch pvc trim. Shim out the studs, rip the pvc and cut to length. Attach it with brads and use good quality caulk. It's faster and will never mold or mildew.
Lots of good advice there. Thank you. Don't use your finger to tidy sealant though people. There's special little scrapers for it that are cheap or eat an ice block and use the radius of the ice block stick.
oh boy, I just finished renovation of my bathroom in Europe. It can't be overstated that homes in Europe are different. We used at least 1,5 tonne of material: cement, plaster, different kinds of glues , ceramic tiles, knauf, hidroisolation, leveling ... for a bath of 3m2.
it is indeed a small bathroom but it's perfect for me, I want to split my bathroom and make two small ones just like this. You did great, it's very very, beautiful. One of the bathroom I want a standing shower with glass.
I like the Tub surrounding how cool. For people remolding on a budget. Now in these Mobile guest bath they should use this product instead of the cheap ones I’ve seen.
Wow. This material u used for the new wall l never see before. But now. Tnx. For u great video . I learn something new tnx lam learning more and more tnx egaing
Good job!! I learned from re doing my own that it’s best to go ahead and replace the drywall all the way up to the ceiling. You can caulk the gap where the new drywall meets the ceiling. Drywall is cheap, it’s easier to finish, and the board doesn’t visually look angled where it meets the surround.
Fix This Build That I did the exact same thing when I remodeled my bathroom. I did a shower remodel not that long ago for a friend and replaced all the Sheetrock and was glad I did!!
I wish our downstairs bathroom looked like this then I wouldn't have to redo it. But the downstairs will have to wait it's turn. We are in the process of getting our upstairs bathroom gutted and expanding into my old bedroom too. Because of a leak in a 60 year old bathroom I designing my dream bathroom now. Oh boy am I having fun. 🤗🛀🧖♀️ Btw I love everything you picked out yall did a great job. The light gray is what I'm doing too. Awesome 😍👍
I'm literally about to do the same thing. The roof leaked into my bathroom and I think they did a botched job on this bathroom/tub anyway when they flipped the house. But I'm gonna try and do a tile bathroom with a tile shower and overhead showerhead.
I am watching this MARCH 22, 2021! Just wanted you to know this information is still very relevant! We are about to start a bathroom remodel just like this! This is perfect for what I need to know and very helpful! Thanks so much ⚒️🪚🏠 👩🏼🔧 p/s GO SUSAN, the light grey paint is so pretty!!
I'm so very impressed with your level of details and skills you have and how very beautiful everything looks , amazing ! I'm glad I subscribe I can learn a thing or two. Blessing from Florida.
Florida? Heads up. La Palma. The LORD has shown me a lot of little signs about Florida. You know about the potential mega tsunami, right? Remember that if the roads jam up and a tsunami is coming, find a ship and go out to sea. It's faster. May God keep you safe in the name of His son Yeshua. Hawaii will fall into the ocean too so tell your friends and family out there. Revelation 8.
WOW, fabulous job! I've never seen this acrylic surround product with the ability to do a porcelain tile inset but it blew me away... I love the final look that upgrades what is often a cheaper-looking acrylic wall (compared to tile), into a very elegant end result! I'm pretty fussy about seeing exactly what I want, but I love everything you chose... AND the quality of your work is stellar! Nicely done! Thanks for sharing this. 11.5.2021
I was really amazed to see how the re-do brought the bath up to a bright, higher energy. At first I thought, just buy some new towels, add flowers and what's the big deal? LOL Had a good laugh at myself. The before picture was like lukewarm water. The after was a sharp looking upscale bath with artistry and light. Truly surprising. My only question is, how do I get my local Home Depot to challenge me too? Maybe give me a discount, perks, anything! Good luck to you. I picked up some tips too.

@@sophiasuarez6190 thanks for the sub!
Fix This Build That was good at the end tbh 😱🥳
ever had anyone tell you to fill the tub with water when caulking the surround to the tub? helps prevent that seam from separating later on
@@Mr0Randomness good tip!
I usually dislike fake tile, but the addition of the mosaic makes such a difference and it looks pretty good!

Professionally done...it looks great. Thank you for posting.

I hate all mudding, but corners are the worst

This channel is so incredibly underrated! Enjoyed the narration and the bathroom in the end looks so gorgeous.

Same here. I’m always looking for something to update or build, inside and out LOL 😂
Looks really good and while you used some nice fixtures, you didn't spend a fortune either. Very good job and a look that is attainable.

I have never seen acrylic sheets of "tiles" before? Makes it looks a whole bunch easier than trying to re-tile a shower and regrout everything.

I challenge you to remodel my bathroom.. and my kitchen.
that's a good one.😆😆😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not excepted.
No kidding.
You are good with what you are doing.
Looks same as it did before but I bet in person it looks so much better. Good work :)
I’m inspired. You are making this look super easy!!!
Wow!! You made this look so easy!!
You did really good job, to these people don't want to remove the wall, shower panel could also be a good solution.
You did an amazing job!! Wish you could remodel some tasks I have.
wow I've just watched a renovation video over on Modern builds channel, and the bathroom's layout is absolutely the same !
Same thought came to me
beautiful bathroom, we are in the middle of our bathroom remodel( is the same exact bathroom layout) Great job!
Omg! Amazing work! Thank you so so much for this video. You make it look so easy and detailed. I’m inspired to remodel my own bathroom!
thanks!
4 years later. How did the remodel go?

This is the best bathroom
That bathroom is huge 😂, it’s so funny to see you call it smal, the bathroom in my house is small.
Mines 200sq ft. if that helps you sleep not including the master closet.
That looked great and you made it seem so doable!
Looks good, man! I expect nothing less from a VOLS fan! GBO
Congratulations
Great job🙌👍
I just had the daltile upstyle installed. It looks great, just as good as the 5k shower I had redone in another bathroom.
Awesome video
You guys did a fantastic job. It all came together so nicely.
😀😀😀😀😀👋👋👋👋😀😀😀😀😀
Thank you!
This dude is a beast! ✊🏻✊🏻
Very impresive and thank you for the video. I had to subscribe. That was awesome.
Great job looks beautiful.
That's an amazing looking bathroom
I wish that my small bathroom will turn like this, can’t wait 😊
demolition is the coolest part lol!!
Nice bathroom 👍
Crushed it with this one dude
Why tear the original tub out and replace it with almost the same looking one, just different pieces?
I agree kinda makes no sense right 🤔
I think the upstile system only works with certain Delta tubs. I’ve noticed this in demos.
That's exactly what I said lol
What material is that tub actually ? Ceramic or some kind of plastic.
I was shocked when he was able to cut tiles and tub
@@abhishek8243 I think it's acrylic. The tiles are acrylic.
well done. your commentary is so clear to follow
Your wife hit the “Husband Jackpot”.... 😎
I love a nice bathroom so nice good job🙌
Thank you for thinking sustainably and donating the mirror and vanity!!!
Great remodel!!
Great job ! You're a pro !
The result is beautiful but I'd be happy with the original bathroom cos that was already so much better than mine haha
I most likely built and handled that bathtub you installed in the bathroom. They are made in Lapeer Michigan!
Makes a standard bathroom looking great. Only thing is the beautiful sheen of the tiles wound up with a dull finish.
Nice work !! Nothing can replace Skill
Thanks!
