weird, my cousin is also an Emirates crew member and she would happily take those polaroids for anyone who would request them :) for example birthdays, kids, couples, at the bar... etc etc :)

top tip when flying econ emirates on an A380 with the no first class configuration: always try to get a seat on the upperdeck window seat. they put econ seats where the frist class is, has a 2-4-2 config, there are storage units by the window seats which doubles as an armrest or to place your drinks on, the toilet is hugggeeee/ basically the size it would be with the first class config but fitted with econ decoration, and when you board, you dont have to wait your turn or queue: you board with the business class peeps at any time often via a lift to the upper jet bridge. one time there was no one on the 2nd section of the upper deck econ, i cheekily asked if i could sit there instead and they let me: so i basically had the whole section for myself and spent my time chatting with one of the air hostess while constantly sipping on G&Ts haha.
I’ve taken Emirates multiple times in their A380. They’re awesome. I’ll be trying out the Singapore A380 soon so I’m excited to see what they have to offer!
I can't agree more. I flew 3 times with Emirates from LGW to MEL in economy way before Covid hit and just did a return and, if anything, it's better. Congrats to Emirates. You looked after me and my mum even better. I can't fault economy class.

That's incredible for an economy class, Dan! When I fly to Australia, I have the option to fly Emirates on a 380. It costs more than some flights(like Delta), but thanks to you, I think I'm willing to splash out on Emirates business class and have a great ride to Sydney! What fun!
That’s a very long flight to Australia to go via Dubai! I would say that’s why it’s more expensive, not because it’s Emirates. In saying that, if you’re paying for business class you might as well enjoy it for as long as you can ☺️
@@fruitpunch5260 that's my take on it! Heck, you only live once! Might as well have fun while you can! My brother has been to Dubai.(he 's retired Navy) He really liked it. I'm always up for new experiences!
I fly regularly to Australia (BNE) from the UK and make a point to go with Emirates every time, especially for their A380s. Not only is their economy experience better than many Business Class flights, but Skywards Silver Tier is actually attainable only after a few long haul flights. That means you get to cut the queues at both check-in and boarding (worth it alone given checkin procedures nowadays!) but free access to the superb Business Class Lounge in Dubai (with great food, showers and all-you-can-drink Moët and Chandon bar!). I recently flew for the first time in Business Class and OMG! League of its own and better than many First Class! 😍 And no, I'm not sponsored by Emirates, just they have a very effective loyalty program!
I’ve just flown on a return trip to Dubai from London, Absolutely love the a380.We sat in the front row of economy row 41,huge amount of leg room. Great staff too ✈️👌
I have taken Emirates A380 for my Switzerland trip in 2012 from Johannesburg and I must say that the airline has evolved. I will be flying with my Partner to Istanbul from Johannesburg in October and I cannot wait. The trip is two legged, with A380 and 777 fleet. Thank you for a great video!
I've flown Emirates economy in the past and have fully appreciated the service on my flight. In 2022 I look forward to flying with Emirates again, especially as on my last flight. I was upgraded to business class!
I been on the Emirates A380 about 4 times… amazing experience. The best airline in the business… in a class of its own. The crew was always so nice and the design of the interior is perfect. Also, Emirates provides so much more space per seat

This brought some good memories back. Lived in Jeddah between 2009 and 2012. The airport now is one million times better then the old one. I also drove my car from Dubai to Jeddah during 2009's Ramadan. What a trip :)
I've flown on 10+ economy flights with Emirates on their A380's. The problem with Emirates isn't the quality of the plane, the A380's are fantastic...... it's the complete apathy from checking in staff, cabin crew and their customer service. They smile when you're happy and shrug their shoulders when there's a problem. I'm fortunate enough to fly Business Class these days, but Emirates lost my Business years ago.
I was talking to my husband who flew Emirates from Italy to Abu Dhabi for work. He flew economy and said he preferred Delta. So now I came to UA-cam because I am curious.
Yeah, QR staff has treated me very well; EK staff always used to treat me very well but a few years ago not as much. So I've been sticking with QR for now.
Thank you so much for your review, I really appreciate it, very good experience flying with you via UA-cam, I will fly Emirates on my next trip out of Nigeria
the empty quarters gave me chills. There is somethign quite beautiful about.. land being untouched by humans. It's just there; majestic, beautiful, but also isolated and quite scary. THank you for including that.
Thanks for the review! Living in the United States, It's easy to think that six-hour flights with no meal service is the norm... glad to see that is not the case worldwide!
The is literally one of the most expensive airlines in the world. You can pay for a first class delta ticket for half the price of an emirates economy ticket and get the same amenities and treatment plus a fucking bed.
as a regular critic of your channel, I am pleasantly surprised by the enhanced production quality and overall positive tone of this review. Good stuff.
for an interrnational flight, the emirates have one of the most restrictive carryon luggage rules. apparently travel pillows and blankets are not allowed as they count toward your carryon stuff. when i was flying on philippine airlines and korean airlines, i could carry as much travel pillows as i want plus a carryon and a personal bag
I am proud to say that I’ll be traveling from JFK to Dubai 🇦🇪 to Maldives 🇲🇻 for Spring Break in Emirates Business Class. 13 hours to Dubai, 2 hour layover, 5 hours to Maldives. That $6000 trip I purchased on Black Friday will cost $10,000 now. I can’t wait. This is my 3rd time to Dubai. I use it as a hub to Southeast Asia. I love that place!!! I always pick the A380. I"m flying Emirates A380 from Manchester to Dubai then from Dubai to Sydney and I am so excited! When picking my seat the map and 3D map show my K seat has a powerport but all of the A seats don't... How accurate is this? Would it be worth me swapping my seat for an A seat?
I’m curious about whether you’ve done a long haul flight with Emirates? My husband and I have flown from Australia to Europe and Africa many times. We have both flown with Emirates, Etihad, Malaysia/KLM combo and Qantas. He has also flown with Qatar. All economy. Emirates are up there with Qantas for me. Etihad not so much. My husband really enjoyed Qatar as well. Malaysia was unexpectedly good - the KLM portion I barely recall due to exhaustion. That many hours in economy is always always rough, and my husband being reasonably tall means leg room is an issue. Etihad’s economy meals were very poor/inedible which contributes to it being our least preferred option on a long haul flight.
I too would like to see a long haul Emirates economy from London Heathrow to Brisbane or return. I have done it a few times, but never seen a video on here by anyone. I love Emirates.
This video was a huge bonus as Wife and I booked Sydney to Ireland Via Dubai and we booked the seats you are sitting in. 79 J & K. The website shows the seat has a wall directly on the aisle seat and there is no window when lights are off. but there is one when lights are on. Lots of bickering about changing seats or even going to prem economy for an extra 2K per flight. This video made it clear there is no wall directly on the seat and there is in fact a window.
I love ecomemy review more then I should because I don’t see it. The first class vids are nice but like I know about the hidden bar and the shower. Excited to watch the vid!!😜
I would like to say thanks to You sir, After watching your video about A380 and 777 my fiancé finally acknowledged how beautiful these planes are and were off to Thailand next year with Emirates. First time ever on a plane like this so you must know how excited we are!
I’ve just done my first Emirates flight for two and a half years - round trip between Manchester and Dubai, and as good as ever. Excellent value for money, especially if you’re going on beyond Dubai, e.g. Singapore or Bangkok, but even just to Dubai is fine. For those further destinations Emirates is better-priced than anyone else I’ve found and also offers more flights, especially outside London.
When I went abroad for my volunteer service I also flew Economy Class with Emirates. The service and experience was amazing and the whole crew was so nice, very helpful and the food was good. By far the best flight I have taken before.
I flew with Emirates in early January on their 77W SFO-DXB-SFO. I can confirm as well that the ICE entertainment is very great, however, I didn't use it a lot since I was mainly in awe of the views outside the aircraft and the fact that I slept through most of the flight. The meal was very delicious especially the desert as well as the mid flight snack (pizza on this flight, not sure if it is the same on all long haul flights).
I recently flew Emirates' 777 in Economy and Neos' 787 in Premium Class. While I would have agreed with you on the value for money point before my Neos flight, I highly suggest you try the Italian Lowcoster, it really blew my mind. Paid around 800€ for MXP-JFK round trip (turned out to be cheaper than any other airline in economy), there was great service, a good seat, lounge access and fast track. I'd love for them to be recognized it a bit more, give it a shot, you won't find better value for money, I promise!!
Flying Emirates A380 on the first leg of a trip to Thailand later this year. Had to really hunt around to get the package to include the A380, but, honestly, once you have A380'd, everything else is a let-down.
I have flown with Emirates on the A380 to Australia and Thailand since 2013 and it has always been great value BUT sadly due to rising prices, I went with Etihad in Jan 2019 to find why Emirates was so much better. I also put it down to seat location as I like an aisle seat with a bulkhead behind me but these seats are extra on Etihad. I also find it quieter near the front of the aircraft. It also helps with quicker disembarkation. Sadly due to a disability, I will unlikely fly with them again as I would need a more direct connection without the stop and change in Dubai from the UK but still hope to fly on the A380 once again very soon.
I flew from the UK to Sydney with emirates recently and my only negative opinion was that the drinks service was slow and they didn't seem to be very generous with giving out alcohol. If I'm on a long haul flight, I would like to have a few wines to knock me out!
I was flying with them in 2016 and had the exact opposite experience. Upon sleeping time they just put a trolley full of drinks, including booze near the galley so everyone could virtually take unlimited drinks. And just before final approach the cabin crew approached me with two cans of drinks I didn't even ask for, just because they can't serve during final approach
I am flying next month to bali with emirates from Germany. 😂 I cannot hold back my excitement anymore. I'll be travelling after 6 years. Your vlog regarding emirates was amazing! Thanks for recording this beautiful journey.

Emirates' A380 is one of my favourite economy products, along with Finnair's A350 flights! Definitely travel with them if you get the chance, Europe's best economy imo.
flying Emirates for the first time, Germany - Dubai - Singapore and back. have gone back and forth around 30 times but never with Emirates, this time their price was competitive and a handy 20 hour visa free layover in Dubai to get some of that beautiful sun and a good brunch in the city somewhere before flying onwards. am looking forward to experiencing Emirates as have heard good things. flew this route with SIA a few months back which was also superb

I've had the pleasure of taking the A380 on a short hop from Hong Kong to Bangkok on economy. Needless to say, I do not take Cathay or Thai for that route anymore.
Great video! thanks for sharing. I've heard the seats in economy class are rather narrow, is this true? I'm planning a trip to Dubai in the near future. I'm a big guy, Not Obese, just a big guy 6'2" tall rather large frame. I don't want to sit in a real narrow seat. I need a little room. So, tell me about the seat, is it narrow?
Thank you for your video! 😊 Really appreciate it and helpful! My 7 year old son will travel for the first time and he is sooo excited after seeing your video.❤
I missed my flight on Emirates, totally my fault. No fuss they simply put me on the next available flight, so grateful for that, was a great flight too - thx Emirates

I’ve recently returned from Dubai on holiday and I flew Emirates. I’ve flown Emirateses A380 more than any other airline and aircraft
Joined long time ago been following before covid keep it up
I'll be flying on the Emirates A380 next week and I can't wait to get on board after seeing this video, amazing review for an amazing airline!
I like watching your videos since we will be travelling to Dubai next month
Been on heaps of Long Hauls with Emirates, going on another one with them an their a380 im about 13 hours from Melb - London. Looking forward to it
Emirates' A380 is one of my favourite economy products, along with Finnair's A350 flights!
Emirates will always have a special place in my heart
I’m flying from Milan to JFK this summer with my wife on an Emirates A380. I was able to get us business class seats with points. I can’t wait!
Fantastic flight review! Really enjoyed watching it! The best flight reviews on UA-cam! 🙌
Congrats on 500K you deserve it and this is one of your best videos. I may love my country's airline SQ but Emirates is def a real competitor! ❤️🇸🇬👏
Q RE headphones, can you plug your own into their TV or does it have to specifically be the ones they give you? Or can you use bluetooth headphones/
Dan, do you know the specific name of the final soundtrack in the video? Trying to find it but no luck.. thanks!
Probably one of my favorite reviews I've watched from you, Dan. Well done
12:07 My mom brought one of those headphones home😭
Hey Dan. Great video. Was Emirates great. Want to take it from Dubai to Hong Kong. Are they lenient with carry on weight
A380. My favorite too. So sad many airlines are already retiring them ...
What a beautiful film - I have only just come across your channel but spent hours watching your experiences on flights I doubt I will ever get the chance to do so thank you for sharing your experiences and beautiful content so it feels like I am there on the journey with you !! 😊
Congrats on the 500K subscribers Dan! I just realized you had another channel with Oskar. I’m going to subscribe right now!
So do you recommend K seats for long flights or not ? I am confused 😅
If the world could be as peaceful on the ground as in the air. I just want to say thanks for bringing the world to those of us that will never have that chance in a lifetime. Continue to do what you do and give us such beauty and peace.
You should have up to a million subs, your videos for airplanes are on of the best.
Very good review, thank you. Made me feel like I was already on an A380
Going to be going on this to fly to Australia in December! I cannot wait!!
How was it? I’m flying Dubai to Sydney in Nov😊
I've had the pleasure of taking the A380 on a short hop from Hong Kong to Bangkok on economy.
Needless to say, I do not take Cathay or Thai for that route anymore.
Cathy’s needs to step up their service 😂😂
Great editing, Dan. Self-taught? Where do you recommend I learn? Thanks for your content!
Ive booked my ticket for this august 10 2023
Hyderabad to Toronto
Cant wait ❤️
This is really useful, I'm flying Emirates A380 in August. Sounds amazing!
Hey Dan, whats your preferred card for racking up miles? thanks
Arabic coffee, bubble tea and lemon mint- Dan's favorite drinks. Noted..👌
I know the Armrest in the extra legroom area doesn’t go up. Do they go up with the other seats on the plane ?
Thank you for your video! 😊
Really appreciate it and helpful!
My 7 year old son will travel for the first time and he is sooo excited after seeing your video.❤
The music in the background is so soothing
thank you so much for your flight review with us here .. we love you so much... TAKE CARE!
I missed my flight on Emirates, totally my fault. No fuss they simply put me on the next available flight, so grateful for that, was a great flight too - thx Emirates
I love how you are American, live in Sweden, but your accent is pure Ontario, Canada. You must have big feet like me (14). Airplane slippers rarely fit. I love traveling with you without all the long walks through terminals. Such fun. Thank you Dan.
Congratulations 🥳 on your 500k. As always you & Oscar have done a great work, very informative. I was lucky to fly the a380 with my family a few months ago and it was a great experience.
Well, stay safe and thanks again for your videos, have a wonderful week.😊😊😊
Thank for sharing your journey with us Dan. Congrats on 500.000 subscribers too.
Emirates is my favourite. Their economy is great, it reminds me of my trip to New Zealand in 2016
Your videos are amazing! I had to cancel some travel I had coming up and it was such a bummer but hopefully I will be back in the air soon!
Thankyou so much for this information
Non stop dan❤❤😊😊
