This show is like a religious experience. I walked in the venue before the concert as a 68 years old man. I walked out the venue afterwards at least five years younger. The enthousiasm on the podium was staggering. As we say in the Netherlands: "it came out of their toes", which means " they gave everything". The audience was flattened. More then 60 nationalities blown away completely. Eternal goosebumps. I received my DVD from this concert yesterday. It is on repeat and it is there to stay in the player. The concert of the century. Easely.
Was my first live experience of Ayreon, since I'm pretty young as an Ayreonaut. Hope it wasn't the last for me. A big experience, on and off the shows. Glad I got introduced to this universe of great music and people, before getting too old to travel...
This is from the show(s) in september 2023. This is from the 01011001 album, not The source. Floor was not in this show. She was in her last stages of her pregnancy, so she could not perform. Also Marcella Bovio is Mexican, but she has been living in the Netherlands for a long time. She speaks Dutch like a native.
The story of "The Source" is actually the prequel to "01011001" which explains your confusion. Those 2 are very similar in style and theme and fit quite well together.
Stubborn Dashy 😂 this song is from the album that the concert is named after ‘01011001’ meaning ‘Y’ and btw Brittney did a lot of Floor’s parts since she was home being 8mo 🤰🏻 pregnant . Tomorrow at 12 on Arjen’s channel the next video from the concert dvd is premiered with Brittney doing ‘ Fate of Man’ which is actually from the Star One Album ‘Revel in Time’ to make things a bit confusing there is also a video already out for ‘The day that the World breaks Down’ ( the one from the Source that you were probably thinking of) That was also performed at this concert with only 3 of the same singers from the album version and the rest replaced by other artist but still amazing 🤩
Actually I was there and the majority of the crowd were NOT from The Netherlands at all.... There were people from ALL over the world on a prilgrimage. Like 26 nationalities I understand. Lots of British people too that went on a weekend trip of their life just to experience one or two of these concerts. It was quite an experience for me as well as a Dutch person to see all these nationalities from all over the world. So come on you guys: next Ayreon concert ... take the short trip to Tilburg and book a hotel or hostel with your daugther and you will remember the experience forever. You won't regret it!!!
tomorow 17/05 Arjen is releasing another live video from this show with britney for the song "the fate of man", you guys should check that one out as well
You call our country flat, shame on you. I need a safe space after this horrid insult !We have anthills the size of anthills ! But fair is fair, please don't run a bulldozer through one of our dikes or we'll lose approximately 98,23451% of our population :) It ain't the' 01011001 song' of course (wink, haha) but I can see why Dashy gets confused because everything Arjan composes is a vast musical landscape (and I even get lost trying to get to the toilet somedays, so no worries :) Anyways you incorrigible infernal Brits, Mucho respect from the benthic people just a few sea miles from your beautiful Albion shores Dashy and mr. Dad & keep the metal going (but I warn you; don't run a bulldozer through our dikes, we already had to deal with that Francis Drake fellow a few years ago, don't start the fifth Dutch-Anglo war !)
Dad here sorry ………. I thought the Netherlands was flat used to watch the cycling on Eurosport And they remarked on the terrain in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 anyway we love our Dutch friends and your Incredible musicians and singers cheers ❤️❤️
