I have no idea how Summer 2023 was the 2nd warmest Summer on Record,I have a good memory,Last summer,I never war a T shift and shorts,Its one of most coldest summers on record here in Kings Lynn in 2023,Most of the time,We had clouds,Some signs of Blue sky,Some sun come out once in a while,I always wearing my Jeans and thin Jumper on,I started my new Job in June last year,Doing morning shifts at 1am,I had to my put my thin Jacket on before leaving to go to work,It was that cold,Summer 2023,I thought it mostly the coldest Summer going,Last Summer we had what was best going so far was Summer 2022,Had a lot of Sun then,One day hottest day on record that year,64 degrees,Felt like being in a massive oven that day
Last summer was awful , never even used my Kayak or Surfboard ! Stuck in all summer looking out the window at rain and cold weather , these people saying the hottest on record is a joke , planet warming my back side , Paris was red hot and the EU at 45 plus , everyday I sat there watching TV as all the EU was out in 90 plus and sunbathing , England was 18 that day when it hit 47 in Turkey and Italy .......
Same on holland, there was NO summer at all and this clinate change bullshitis just another hoax to push the sick agendas from those seeking to control 0:04
Rubbish! The real reason for flooding is because greedy developers have been allowed to put houses, concrete and tarmac over areas which were known flood plains and run off areas. Where I live the drains are all blocked with leaves that the council just left to rot in the gutters. It rained all day here and it wasn’t that heavy but it flooded because a local ditch was blocked with rubbish. The fire brigade cleaned it out and the floods started to recede almost immediately. Local authorities rarely flush the sewers and street drains through like they did in the 1960’s when I was a lad. They never dredge the rivers either. It’s yet another example of our politicians belching out hot air and doing nothing about the practical things that really matter.
@@curtisducati yes, exactly. The uk is further north than those countries; further from the equator (the hottest region on earth & closest to the sun). Our exposure to the Atlantic Ocean means that we get storms rushing in from that side of the world (+ El Niño currents). Idk why we still have to argue about climate change being real or anthropogenic, but it does give me hope that humanity will finally be at rest soon.

A couple of pictures of trees blown down, and something obstructing a train line? I'm sure we could spin that cos that's exactly what sky's other report has in it.

Every single year for the last 34 years of my existence, during the autumn and winter seasons have always brought destructive winds and flooding somewhere in the UK. this is normal seasonal weather. could the government do more to stop the destruction?
