Another very talented Country singer who should have had a more successful career. Other singers who had talent like Jamey Ryan, Kay Adams and Margie Bowes fall in this category.
@Jax Adriel My "tip" to every here is to pay no attention to these Fiixzone bots. It is just another shady website trying to invade your computer and obtain information.
One of my very favorite songs. And Molly Bee sure knows how to sing it as it should be sung! Thank you for the upload. P.S. Eydie Grome recorded a wonderful version of this song too!
Beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing this, even though I'm crying my eyes out. I just really miss these kinds of shows and just how much everything has changed.
Molly was a sweetheart, I know this because my uncle dated her in the 50's then again just after this appearance. They came close to getting married but her management stopped it because of my uncle's reutation at the time, that and him being a hard-drinker.
Never found success on the national pop or country charts. A great, great talent who should be better known today.

And don't forget Connie Cato's song "Superskirt"!
The idea of "You Don't Know Me" was Eddy Arnold's but the song was actually written by Cindy Walker.
Correct.

Ray Charles did the most-heard version. It's a beautiful song.
I remember seeing Molly Bee at a country show at Knott's Berry Farm around 1954 - 55 timeframe. I was 9 or 10 and loved her ponytail and big skirts.
she has a nice, rich voice, especially at the mid/low points.

Great Song, Great Voice.
Hardly written by Eddy Arnold; he came up with just the title and Cindy Walker wrote the words and music.
I remember Molly as a young girl just starting out. She has a wonderful voice.
She looked better with a pony tail but she does a great job on this old classic. Thanks for posting.
Glenn Johnson Been ages since hearing Molly Bee,so great to hear her music again. They just don`t write songs like this anymore.
I've only heard this sung by Elvis Presley before which is a great version, her version is beautiful too what a great voice.
And Ray Charles has a great version of it also.
@@geebeeman1 I forgot about Ray Charles version.
