Congratulations on your relocation. It’s difficult living and working hard in Nigeria before making ends meet yet without guarantee. However, as a doctor living and practicing in the UK, i must say that you probably work harder in the West, the difference is that the result is guaranteed. Above all, I think the stability in the west is the huge plus i.e. light,water, internet, security, sanity etc. It’s important that people in Nigeria planning or wishing to travel abroad understand that money isn’t made by snap of fingers.

Hi I must agree with you, in the West you’ll probably work harder most definitely. Life is not a bed of roses, especially for an immigrant. It would take a while to fully settle in, months for some people and maybe a few years for others. At the end the end result is guaranteed when compared to Nigeria

Wherever you find yourself you have to work hard. Nothing comes easy in CA or anywhere else. You actually have to work harder to earn your money in canada us or wherever. Anyone still in Nigeria choosing to migrate that is good and if you still find yourself based in Nigeria thats ok too. Wherever you find yourself love it. Nigeria is a great place to live and many pple plan to return after years living outside the country because there is no place like home : )
Thanks for this. You're so so realistic. Here in abroad we still have to work even harder than those in nigeria. Some even work 2-3 jobs to survive. We all run to the abroad thinking is easy but it not at all. You work all week just to survive . Anywhere u find yourself pray for God's grace and blessings each passing day.

If you are in your 40s and 50s and your children are still studying (college or uni) you can apply for the whole family. It's not too late and is worth it.
It's almost impossible after age 40 except u have a relative in Canada

Im currently in the UK, studying my masters, but the thing that will pull down my ability to be succesful is that I have no family in Canada NOR am I married/my own family, as proof of support/stability/adaptability to do well in Canada (based on the requirements for the Federal Skill Worker program) I am trusting God for direction on what to do.
