Take another gander at the fallen angels, once you realise that squad cap is increased by recruiting standard bearers - you're golden, really solid and the chapter master is a right tank.
The old, Victorian Britain looks good in the 40th millennium, but the samurai theme seems alien and strongly discouraged. I'm surprised they didn't add 14 year old schoolgirls and Evangelion mechs....
Well that's the thing, if the Japanese theming was more akin to WW2 era Imperial Japan and less like anime, I think it'd fit in wonderfully. I could totally see samurai in power armor being akin to the Kasrkin of normal guard, an elite unit you only get one or two of.
Given the popularity of anime at the moment I can see the allure. It's a shame the voice acting on the Praetorians is dodgy. As an Englishmen the accents are extremely jarring to the ears.
@user-nx3lk2tt5u should had, so people like you could bitch about it and we anime lovers could laugh at your bitching. No, it's not alien and not discouraged, all the contrary it perfectly fits. I guess you never watched a Tokusatsu in the entirety of your life? watch a tokusatsu like the super sentai, Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes etc. etc. (stuff the people who produce animes want you to watch because they're the same production companies) and then tell me that the Wh40K aestetic was not influenced by also those (WH40K came out years after Tokus originated in Japan). For example, the last toku I've watched (Denziman from 1978) had main enemies who looked like humans with drukari costumes. Me myself I told on the Unification Page several times the devs should have added toku-influenced skins from Ultraman and the like but I guess Moddb didn't like my comments, so I cancelled them.
@@lokiopensloloc5680 the voice actors are englishmen like you. The devs are all from england, at least the majority of them (for what I've understood).
Oh and all the titan stuff I wonder where it was taken.I mean, Japanese people do robot animes from the SEVENTIES, you think GW came out with the idea on their own? I don't think. Without animes a bit part of the WH40K lore would not exist,de facto.
Lots of cool things with the update, but the Tekarn just throw me off so much. I thought it was an april fools joke when I was first showed them, seemingly not.
Tekarn Shogunate being a combination of Red Alert 3 Empire of the Rising Sun, Genshin Impact Inazuma and Traitor Imperial Guard is very unusual but certainly puts a very different flavour of faction on the board with hero focus and high tech but somewhat fragile units, while the Prateorian Guard's Blood Axe auxiliaries given them a good bit of extra trickery beyond the Guard roster. Look forward to seeing more of the factions as they get figured out.
Still gotta try the other trator guard path but I do like the Shogunate. A few aesthetic things I would change but I could see a guard regiment having a Sengoku era Japan theme in canon.
@MrLandshark Sir, sorry if i ask you, but could you kindly explain me why the standard bearer or the flag it self are referred to as "colour", honestly i don't get it and still make no sense in my mind! 😅
tiger shark should go full khorn. not only dmg boost but also armor penetration boost. makes balistas melt vehicles and building. no need for weak tankbusters unit then
18:45. Units do not target what I want them to target. UA does it ALL the fucking time. I see the Uni people also fuck this up. Like a Giant ass tank is shooting infantry that are no threat instead of the enemy tank right the hell in front of you killing you. I'm not talking about like, one side mounted little gun, the MAIN GUN should be shooting at what I RIGHT CLICK. Sheesh.
Praetoria feels like very badly balanced faction. I tried playing it vs new factions AIs and i get destroyed in early game every time, because infantry sucks and for some reason you have only 3 AT squads, which is not enough.
Playing vs the Praetorians as AI they use pay to play artillery before engagement every time, softening me up and putting me on a fallback for them to advance. Worth a consideration if you want to use them.
Unification has more models than Tabletop 40k. You can really appreciate the passion that went into this mod.
It also highlight how lackluster GW is when it comes to anything but space marines.
Shogun Guard is a Miraculous mixture of Comand & Conquer series LoL

I just don't understand how their knowledge resource works
The design choice of the renegade is...well...something.

Keep up the Unification casts. Need more!
I can't believe they mounted a whole electro archon statue on top of the infernal manufactorum 🤣🤣🤣
Fix bayonet mates☕
Gotta say a few "pip pip cheerios" while playing as Praetorians, mate.
As a Welshman i appreciated all of this :D
Didn’t realize I clicked on a Sybert cast this time lmao
The amount of raw Britishness present is overwhelming!
40k needs more anime. 38k years of humanity can only produce higher grades of weebness.
So Renegade Guard get an option to play lore accurate and an option to play a meme version? Good to know^^
They have the good path and the "I want my 40k game to have genshin impact assets in it" path
Dr Who and TARDIS are top units, kinda weird I thought, but they are in the army.
Still gotta try the other trator guard path but I do like the Shogunate. A few aesthetic things I would change but I could see a guard regiment having a Sengoku era Japan theme in canon.
Tekarn above all!

so the renegade guard is just traitor guard with empire of rising sun skin from red alert 3 ?
one of it branches, the other one is a more lore accurate Vraksian Rebellion
Vengeance for the United Empire!!!
tiger shark should go full khorn. not only dmg boost but also armor penetration boost. makes balistas melt vehicles and building. no need for weak tankbusters unit then
Now are you bold enough to cast the other game?
I don't think this channel can handle watching me lose any more for a little while at least!

I think Red Alert 3 should stay in Red Alert 3.
Tier three is a Sakura. Nice hahaha
Mr landshark, you cant play this game properly for sure.
Mmm racist colonialism played for laughs.
mos dishonorboru
True British supremacy as it should be!
My brother in the emperor the main faction are space nazis
