I began to pray to clear anything that was not in his will for me. And when I tell you…. I didn’t realize how much I needed this podcast thank you ladies. I got engaged about a year ago, and I was so filled with excitement and joy that I started focusing so much of getting engaged and married that I became obsessed with it, but along the way God made me put mywedding on hold into focus on him and that’s what I’m doing now and you know what it feels good to not focus on my wedding and prepare myself to be God’s bride to be my husband’s wife and God’s eyes because I realize you cannot do a healthy marriage without God in the middle
What God is teaching me is: shift your focus from the world to Him. God will teach you how to be His child. Obedience to God is so important. Having your focus on God will show you how God will always provide for you.

As a first time listener, I love this podcast!! Love to see women in Christ have a discussion like this. I’d like to add that a lot of men don’t go back to what they are ‘done’ with because of pride. We can say that they love themselves too much to go back.. but it’s actually rooted in pride and fear of looking vulnerable. Bible says that he who loves his wife shows love for himself Eph 5:28.. and if he’s treating you wrong, that’s one sign that he doesn’t love himself..

These women are BEAUTIFUL and I don’t say that just by their looks. I love that I came across this podcast and this specific episode. My biggest thing is listening to anything having to do with our Lord Jesus on high volume. I’m opening my arms and ears for him but it’s something about listening to it all on full blast that makes it so much more powerful for me. I absolutely loved the end, even had me emotional. I am currently in the transition phase where God is stripping me of my old self! I read over Proverbs 31 every morning and I love to replace the she with "I" and "me". That was me too! I was content with me and my dog and my apartment lol but God rebuilt my point of view and now I’m on the pursuit to be a proverbs 31 woman! I just recently studied the whole book of proverbs! Glory to God!

8:50 made me realize how I treat myself reflects on my relationships. For me I put a lot of responsibility and pressure on myself to be perfect or close to it. I personally can’t sleep, eat or know peace unless I have a job. That’s probably why I expect my partners to be a go getter/ provider. I never realized that until now.

I just want to share that for a long time I was unsaved and with my now husband. But when I got saved I moved out and had to be seperate from my man. Until we got married and began to align ourselves the way God ordained. We now have an 11 month old together and doing our best to live a way that God wants us to! I really wanted to hear more of babygirl at 46:34. Her story is literally mine currently. I’ve been on this journey solo-dolo, not inviting romantic connections and emotions. And as soon as I did, it was taken away. In hindsight, I understand God was tearing parts of me down to be renewed that were revealed in that relationship…but it still hurts because I won’t front I wanted that man. But I have to trust in God’s order

I loved this episode so much🫶🏼 I felt lots of conviction obviously in a good way, things that I need to work on for myself. As a new believer of less than a year, I think it’s important to give ourselves grace as we learn to unlearn old habits and dying to ourselves. Sometimes I feel so guilty that I’m not yet this perfect proverbs woman I want to be but understanding it is all a process and takes time. Especially when all you know is trauma, toxicity, and worldly views. God is pleased that you accepted Him and are trying daily to straighten your path.

I really wanted to hear more of babygirl at 46:34. Her story is literally mine currently. I’ve been on this journey solo-dolo, not inviting romantic connections and emotions. And as soon as I did, it was taken away. In hindsight, I understand God was tearing parts of me down to be renewed that were revealed in that relationship…but it still hurts because I won’t front I wanted that man. But I have to trust in God’s order

Agreed and needed to hear a lot of what was said during this podcast. But we as believers must make sure we give wisdom that aligns with scripture. “Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers.. for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness..” 2 Cor 6:14. That’s not about us being similar in general or about us being in partnership.

I loved this episode so much🫶🏼 I felt lots of conviction obviously in a good way, things that I need to work on for myself. As a new believer of less than a year, I think it’s important to give ourselves grace as we learn to unlearn old habits and dying to ourselves. Sometimes I feel so guilty that I’m not yet this perfect proverbs woman I want to be but understanding it is all a process and takes time. Especially when all you know is trauma, toxicity, and worldly views. God is pleased that you accepted Him and are trying daily to straighten your path.
