Hi Adam, I,m just starting at 63 years old to fix Radio's, I have already fixed a few, But I,m Going to Buy a Grundig majestic 1088, I have been Told By a couple different People on UA-cam, That maybe I should wait, to get More Experience, The man is asking 75 dollars But it says in add, cant turn stations, And after watching you video, and saying about the string ,that changes stations its a hard job, and Being Im Blind in 1 eye and need glasses for other, Do you think I should Buy it, Just want, Opinions, thanks for any Help
If the original speaker is in order you have original sound that should be...many restorer change to a new speaker and loose that sound that was taken from the factory...even in cars the radio was in a package with the speaker and change it is not original sound.
Im going to work on Grundig 5060s from 1956 its HIFI, this clip is really helpfull.
