What sadness! Tim Akers has already left us on August 30, 2021. I did not know, although I wondered from time to time, where he had gone. He said so encouragingly that he was cured, that he built a new modern studio, that he has many plans for the future... Sadness.

Hey Tim. I found your purely by accident while searching for something to listen to while creating in the kitchen. When I heard the first session performance, everything stopped in my world and I started paying close attention! I'm an old, previously working guitar player from years back and when I heard your band of various pros and THOSE ARRANGEMENTS, I was transported back to the 80s when I attended M.I. in Hollywood to attempt to get off the road and become a session pro. Not a chance though. But among all the things I loved from school was big band class! I couldn't hang but I love everything about it, including Steve Houghton, the drumming band leader. What you do is so unique and it brings tears to my eye like great music did to me at 6 years old. Just saying thank you is not even close to how much I love your work and all of the singers and musicians. I sincerely hope that you and all are able to keep gigging and working sessions in this crazy post-covid world. Please forgive me for this long-winded message. And I truly hope that you recovery from illness is complete and that you are still well and active! Bravo! Just, Bravo! 🥲👍🏾
