Very helpful, thank you for posting this! I sat on my glasses and the temple broke off (first time it has ever happened). I remember the shop informing me if this ever happened how to put it back on but obviously forgot. Traveling now, so I am very happy to come across this. Very easy and informative! Thanks again!

i have stick to wear ic berlin for the past 15 years. I have ine common problem, where there is a very thin slot of around 1 mm at the side corners of the frame. This slot always break. Is there anyway to repair this ?

Have they fallen apart on you like how some other people are saying? Looking into purchasing these but for $500 and falls apart kinda sucks

I don't know what the other people commenting below are talking about.... They must have problems starting their car!

Who ever designed this hinge should never be allowed near anything mechanical again. Just the simple act of removing glasses from my face has caused these to come apart multiple times. Then I have to search for a video to fix them and there is not much help, especially in english. These are my first and LAST pair of ic berlins!!

By contrast, I have only used IC Berlin; I have both the hinge types and they work perfectly for me. I own mine without issue for 5 years now.

So AGAIN today I simply reached over and picked my glasses and the arm came off - AGAIN. That was 10 minutes ago and I am STILL trying to get it back on after watching the video part 1:10-1:20 repeatedly! As they say results may vary - I will not be buying these ever again!

If you want to have a pair of glasses that falls apart occasionally (say, every few months) when you simply take them off, these are great. You will then come back to this video to try to see how to put it back together again with surprising regularity, and you will watch the video with your glasses in your hand, not on your face. I will not be buying anything like this again.

I was just about to purchase these. Did you find another good brand I should know about?

@@bdanicky I just buy normal glasses now. Still have these, still wear them almost every day (they are not my main glasses; I basically keep them on the coffee table to watch TV). They still come apart very easily and are much harder to put back together than shown here. In fact, if you look closely at 1:16, you'll see there's a cut on the video. I assume the person didn't get the frame together on the first go either.
I would only buy these glasses if I played volleyball regularly or something similar. And even then, there are probably other sports options. I have not bought these glasses again and will not.

In fact, you can see at 1:17 that the top latch is not going to go in. They had to repeat the process. It didn't work on the first go.

fancy promo that is NOT instructional. my glasses "broke" and I want to fix them myself, one of the big selling points, but this ic! Berlin "how to" video is not a how-to. Blech.
