The best thing to ever happen to Andrus was getting to play next to Beltre... he was finally able to just relax and have fun playing. Everybody needs a friend like these two
i moved from dallas to oakland and it’s been comforting seeing Elvis on the diamond over here, even if his numbers have been less than stellar. an all-around great dude and clearly a great clubhouse presence.
I lived in Fort Worth for 20 years and was able to see Beltre and Andrus play every day, they put the fun back into baseball, their on field antics were hilarious.
Love how the Rangers broadcasters are used to it but the Fox broadcasters are so confused.

No disrespect to Elvis, but not only was Beltre a great ballplayer, definitely a HoFer, he seemed to have more fun than anyone I've ever seen playing the game. I've never been one to follow the AL, but damn I loved watching Beltre play, he will be seriously missed in baseball, but as I said, I think he's destined for Cooperstown.

I became a Rangers fan the day I saw him get his 3,000th hit on tv. And then when I found out about his history as well as my team’s, it makes me appreciate Beltré even more now. See you in Cooperstown, Adrian. The greatest third baseman to never win a World Series. Change my mind

I truly miss a player like Adrian Beltre, he enjoyed playing everyday and made the game that much more special. Cant wait for his HOF speech!

My favorite part about these two is that Elvis is always fucking around and beltre is often serious but he breaks sometimes because of how funny Elvis is. I miss seeing these two and their shenanigans.

Honestly it has nothing to do with race. When you find someone that you can joke around with, regardless of anything, you'll be able to laugh and have fun during anything. Putting a race on it just tries to diminish the love of baseball. 🤦♂️
Doug Mertz It is a race thing, Hispanics/Latinos show more physical affection in their friendships , where as here in America that’s considered “suspect” , literally happened last year when Albies and Acuna were being called Gay for the first half of the season

I miss watching these two play the game. Big brother, little brother relationship was fun to watch.
The way Beltre keeps staring up after Elvis catches the ball kills me. And at 9:25 when Elvis realized the ball didn't go over the wall, he started smiling cause he was already thinking about the hell he was going to catch from Beltre lmao. He could either hear him or feel his stare.
I'm a Cardinal fan, my father had me at Busch Stadium since I was 3 weeks old, I'm 31 now. But I absolutely love these two, and I hope Elvis stays a Ranger until Beltre retires at the very least.
This relationship was so awesome and underappreciated. Good buddies who gave each a hard time but were having a good time playing the game they love

That last clip is hilarious...you can tell why Beltre is jokingly pissed...walking out the box like he hit out and it didn't get out of the smallest part of the park...the stare down after was too funny...get them their own show...lol

It was such a joy to watch those two clown it up on the baseball field. I never imagined when AB signed with my Rangers that he and Elvis would mesh so perfectly. I cried when he retired, and I miss him still. ❤️💙
