    En SCANIADIESEL låter stark och häftig - en DETROITDIESEL som överansträngd gammal tvåtaktare!!!

    The sound from the Scania far out weighs anything else, em 9 Mack's were brilliant.

      Hey Scania lover, I may get my answer to this question if you answer my other question on the 143H-420 video, but on this clip what makes this model a T-142E, meaning the "E". I think I got the rest now. It's a 14.0 liter V-8 engine, 3rd Generation Cab & Chassis, but what about the E? And by taking a guess I'm gonna say the 400 refers to the horsepower being put out by the engine?

    • @jan-willemvisscher307
      @jan-willemvisscher307 4 роки тому

      There were M, H and E series. The E series were the ones with the extra strength chassis, for heavy duty use.

    • @jan-willemvisscher307
      @jan-willemvisscher307 4 роки тому

      And yes, you are right about 400 being the horsepower of the engine and it is indeed a 14 litre V8 of the third series (which look almost the same as the 2 series). The 1 (and 0) series also are quite simular to each other, 350-375 horsepower, but also sweet sounding beautiful trucks.

      @@tommeiner9983 We do have a Scania here & there in the U.S. But you're right, not many can or will appreciate this fine Finnish testament to commercial truck building. Honestly these are more appealing than modern Man, Volvo, Iveco, or Daf trucks. Older Dafs (F-241), Ivecos (190.30), and Scania 2nd & 3rd generation T or "Nosed" models are my favorite foreign trucks. I only wish cab-overs still roamed the highways in my country. There's a few still working up in Canada, but nothing like it used to be...

      @@cjshaw1419 Finnish? Scania is Swedish you know....
      The Finns do build the Sisu trucks although they source both cab and engine from Mercedes. They also only build a few hundred a year since they're basically only sold in Finland.
