I saved this video to watch later and I didn't get round to watching, but I so wish I had. Today in my adult Ed class 3 bowls I threw ended up flopping over, if I had of watched I could have had some great bowls. Now I know what to do when it goes flop lol thanks for sharing😮😊
Thank you Janet. Always nice to hear from you. I use the wavy wire because I don't like to leave the bottom flat. I don't like trimming the wavy bowls because the rims are uneven 😊
Off topic… would you happen to have a cone 06 slow drip and Hold or just a good cone 06 low fire firing schedule? I am new to low fire clay and I can’t find a 06 glaze firing schedule anywhere. I don’t typically use my kilns default. So thank you! I truly appreciate it!
Thanks I think you misunderstood lol I was asking for a glaze firing schedule for cone 06. You know a schedule for firing. Like when you enter specifics on the firing. I don’t have one for low fire and I need one for cone 06 glaze firing. To enter into my Bartlet. I can’t find one at all from google. I don’t use the default setting in my kiln. I figured you would know since you seem to know everything ceramics! 😊
Thanks so much. It’s so difficult to find a schedule online. I’ve literally scoured the internet. Do you ever did too and holds for any of your schedules? Apparently it helps with defects. I’d love a video about something like that! Thanks you’re really kind to help me!
Hi Nikki. Good question. A use the ultimate edger to make the foot and cut the bowl off the bat with my curly wire cutter because I don't like leaving my pottery untrimmed. I show it at the 6:50 point in the video. 😊

Hello 👋 watching from Australia 🇦🇺
Hello 😊 That is very cool. Love Australia!
That is so cool!
Thanks Paul 😊
Beautifully done instructional video. BTW, why do you use a wavy wire tool to take your pieces off the bat?
Thank you Janet. Always nice to hear from you. I use the wavy wire because I don't like to leave the bottom flat. I don't like trimming the wavy bowls because the rims are uneven 😊
geat idea!! Thanks Marie xxx
You are most welcome ❤️

You are most welcome. There are 06 glazes that drip that contain more flux (melting agent). You have to look for glazes that say flow, float, flux. 😊

Sure. You can put a 10 minute hold on at the end. Keep in mind if you put a 20 minute hold on you go up one more cone size.
On your wavy bowls, how do you trim the bottom and make a foot? If the sides are wavy, how can you balance the bowl for trimming?

@@PotteryCrafters Thank you for the demonstration on how to use the ultimate edger. Very helpful.
Hi Marie! That was so cool. Absolutely love those wavy bowls. Your videos always hypnotize me 😊❤
