For anyone wondering why the gameplay looks so slow, it's because the demo is being played on the "Venom" class(easy) which is the slowest of the classes. Look up some PS3 gameplay on "Phantom" class and you will see the difference.

Wipeout was one of my most loved games on the PSP, then I got a PSVITA with wipeout 2048 and the dlc, and now the whole thing comes to PS4? holy shit I love it!
You know you're a wipEout fan when you notice the demo speed is on venom (lowest speed class out of 4 speed classes in the game with phantom class being the fastest), when it comes to differences though, lighting effects definitely feel brighter than it was in HD Fury, otherwise its still got the same clean and gritty aesthetic that's just a bit more detailed. I would like to see some gameplay from 2048, because that would look great in 4K.

The test of hardware technology has always been the standard for wipeout! 4K in its greatness beauty, with minor tweaks in an "old" games. I hope this is just a. warm up for a upcoming fresh wipeout. For convinience (i own all wipeout titles) and for historic perspective it could include (at least) the original trilogy. I'm waiting for more!
I just can't believe i bought this for PS3 three weeks ago for 8€ 😞 At least it's already at 1080p 60fps, and i really can't see major differences comparing with this...

It reminds me of Pulse for the PSP. I hope it's like that game, since it set the benchmark for me how i want to pplay wipeout, especially dominator mode.
I wish they put more importance and impact on the certain teams and companies you can race for. Instead of just picking a ship, have a bit of fictional history behind it to build more of an identity behind each ship or maybe even drivers. Like F-Zero in that sense.
