Shiho Saito is absolutely amazing. Smoothness, dignity, vigour, melancholy, energy, concentration, everything mixed into one piece. This is celebration of life...
the beauty of her moves are phenomenal! Her strength, grace and speed....instead of talking kung fu, I am so blessed to see actually foreigners learning and knowing kung fu more than some of us Chinese. Amazing! Truly worthy of being a world champion!
Kung Fu?? You are Chinese? & you are using an inaccurate term to use for Tai Ji, of all Martial Arts; as Kung Fu (功夫) means; high level of skill achieved over time with effort. Kung Fu or Gong Fu (Pinyin) is not a Martial Art - it refers to any endeavour where one places their effort, in a meritorious way, to whatever action is being taken.
Easier for westerners to type "Red Sorghum ". I just checked all variations give the same song. Possibly its looped for this performance as the song is less than 3 minutes. Thank you for posting the name. I've added it fir my taijiquan. ☯️ 🙏 Amitofou....
Tai Chee is a good free hand exercise for all men and women. It slow motion & fast motion. If you want to build your health you have to do it religiously every day, preferably in the morning. It is not recommended for ppl who have no patience. This an art of self defence. Invented by Chinese century’s so. Having said this I wish you all well & good luck.
0:47 Daaaammmmmmnnnnnn...!!!! She seems like she's drawing a Tai Chi diagram! So subtle and fabulous! I never thought that a taolu could bring me tears. "Xie Xie".
I like how she is rooted, more so than the others I've seen. Also, she seems to finish the movements. She could be more relaxed to have a better flow. Great!
That was great. Beautiful form, full extension and transference of power, excellent balance speed and grace. Awesome fluidity. Stay strong and keep training.ℹ️💯✅❤️✝️🙏🏿📖🗡👊🏿👌🏿👍🏿🥷☯️😎
I like the taiji forms competition routines a lot. Not being too winded is something cool. You know? In fact, even though taiji forms competitions have been around for a long time, it's always relevant and novel, because the rest of the world of athletic competition is always looking for an 'edge' for MORE endurance. I have this hyper sensitivity to seeing people who are winded after a competition. Freaks me out. Spamming and training stamina is the best way to negate 'skill.' In theory, you're more rested and calmer after doing your form, although THIS is a competition and a BIG one.
The announcer made a mistake I think. Taichi isn’t Japanese culture at all. They don’t practice this in parks. It’s Chinese art. Chinese ppl practically grew up practicing this art but it’s very rare in both Korea and Japan.
Have you even been to Japan? I used to live in shirioshi province, Japan. Tai Chi is actually fairly popular in Japan and not just recently. But for quite a while too. They even got a similar Japanese version called Takiken yet Tai Chi is definitely more popular than Takiken even in Japan
@@Elfangorlanzhou I was born and grew up in Michigan. So you are probably more correct than I. I was only stationed for a few months in Okinawa as a US Marine back in the late ’90s. I have seen a little bit of scenery in Okinawa but not Japan mainland either. That's why I started “I think” and I thought it was pretty rare in Japan and Korea. I guess I was wrong.
Gotta say, I agree with the US man ( I suspect the other comment is a deception/false information ). The two nations are not friendly to each other. Obviously there are some people from each nation practicing other countries arts but they are rare. I can't imagine Japan doing this or practicing on mass ! . It boarders on bad etiquette, even anti national !. I've practiced Japanese kung fu "shorenji kempo" and I practice taijutsu , ( hand fan, Aikido & kenjutsu basically). This was a good performance but the narrator was incorrect twice ! His comment about being popular in Japan and he says the focus is on the eyes 😂😅 that's like saying I'm using a shotgun for a close grouping of shot. Trust me dude your right. 🪖 🇬🇧. 🇪🇸 🏡 ☯️ 🙏 47yrs of arts. "El Maestro de blanko"....
We REALLY can see that she is AMAZING ... so WHY the commentators can not STFU and let us enjoy this Art quiet and in peace? Absolutely Amazing performance but in the end i think she know it was just 99 and not 100% Since it was in China, it was clear she did not get so much applause ;)

absolutely one of the best. Her movements and the music have perfect alignment, which showed much more potential of taiji
do you know the name of the song? It's so good and powerful song.
The soundtrack from "Red Sorghum".

"Xie Xie".
She was so graceful and beautiful and right on point with her movement's.
I like watching this without the audio. The movement itself is art.
I hope these girls go through life wisely and don't let worldly desires rob them of peace
Fantastic Comment!
I like how she is rooted, more so than the others I've seen. Also, she seems to finish the movements. She could be more relaxed to have a better flow. Great!
Such unbelievable control. Magnificent routine

..slow is fast, slow is power.,stillness is power, motionless is speed., all nicely done! Only interrupted by the inadequate commentating.
For some reason, she has Chinese character. Sato San doesn't look like a Japanese. What a great performer!
Absolutely amazing!
Felicitaciones! Extraordinario!
Just wonderful.
This appears to be a mixture of styles. Not a criticism. Simply an observation. I'd like to know more.
Such power and grace! Wonderful!
That was incredible. Saito is a beast.
Extraordinary...one word for her.

If poetry was a person... Wow👏👏👏👍
Fact is not much ppl extended their life with taichi. It's the belief that it will that keep it popular, besides it became a community activity.
Wow. She's really good. Excellent 👍😇🙏🤝
Which style?
А до гармоние работа над обстоятельствами слезы напряжения
Very fst, good equilibrium, i saw that she lands after the jumps with the front feet, difficult!
Mesmerizing performance.😍👍
what the title of this song ?
"Red Sorghum"

It's also very complex. Japanese are famous for focusing on being really good at a few things.
