Im so glad suge gets to tell his story the right way ...Keep the documentaries comings ❤❤❤❤❤
One KNIGHT so deserves his recognition by the music industry, deserves his spot in the Hip Hop Hall Of Fame, his flowers, his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, but most of all, his respect. This man did so much for the game, his artists and the music industry at large. Many lessons to be learned from him hopefully people are listening and actually going to act on the many groundbreaking nuggets he is dropping on empowerment and making a positive impact in music, artist welfare and the society at large. God bless you Big Brother 🙏🏾
SUGE IS JUST BUILT DIFFERENT....... THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER SUGE KNIGHT!
I can seriously honestly say i have never ever been more ready to listen to a person in my life the way i am ready to listen to you Suge and thankyou bery much for sharing your time and knowladge because everyone else in your industry not everyone but alot of people had shite to say about what they thought of you and it is fantastic to hear what you think about those who were quick to throw you ubder the bus but i just remembered people like Big Syke and others saying how they recpect you alot when everyone else was quick to throw you under the bus or speak their version of the truth and i wanted to hear your truth for so many years respect to you for speaking to us thankyou

Suge telling his own story! It definitely changes the narrative about his legacy for the better!

This podcast was sad when Suge knight talked about his mom’s that was hard. I felt that .😢
Suge is Powerful within himself, smart strong book/street smart. The entertainment industry is definitely scared of his power, quick wits and have been working overtime to try and put a shadow over him. I hope he gets out prevails, make the wrongs right and makes the game better!
Dope!!!
Damm, that eazy story is CRAZY! bizzy bone been saying that BIH fucked everything up! I had no idea to the extent though.
That was the fastest 37 minutes in my life. These interviews have to be longer we need 2hours. ❤

I 💯agree with your statement.. he knows a lot of things about a lot of people. Sheesh!
They never spoke the good about suge always bad. I’m so glad suge got to speak on his side of the story history was made ❤️
Except Pac didn't know they were cops. They were off duty. But still he stepped up and helped a young man out. No celebrity's doing that. Better yet even a regular joe.
2Pac was protecting his own 💯
These interviews are exactly what’s needed right now and are long overdue
We gotchu!! Favorite part of episode 3?
I’m locked in listening to each ep in detail my favorite part is suge giving out the game on how he fell in love and seen people in harmony due to hip hop
I did business with a lot of record companies. Everybody warned me about Suge. But to be honest, i was dealing with crooked labels and business with Suge was righteous. I had a short rap career. I made the most money off 1 song with Suge than anybody else, and I'm still being compensated for that song til this day.
What song

Damn, thank you for that story about Pac saving that man from the police! They really down played it, cause they don't want anyone to immulate that. Wow, this story should be told around everywhere.
When Suge was describing how he fell in love with hiphop, he sounded so vulnerable and unguarded. I can tell he was a bit emotional. It sounded like one of the best moments in his life
It was the best moment in all our lives, especially if you were there at the birth and development of it. It “was”/is indeed a religion/A movement.

I agree 💯 percent with Suge people talking like PAC wasn't raw but how many people would do what he did in Atlanta.... Gangbangers included
Pac was cutt throat
Facts. People talk about Tupac wasn't a gangster. Name 1 gangster that risked their freedom for someone being done wrong and Tupac didn't even know the man. That takes more heart than being a gangster. Tupac has a lane that will be hard to enter.
I'm seeing a different side of Suge Knight, vs what mainstream says. 💯
And I'm shocked 😲
Suge is not only a BOSS but he’s very intelligent.. the man got a lot to say. I have a new found respect for him. I’m completely glued.. great podcast, the graphics and everything!!💯

Say it louder for the people in the back!
The only insurance they put on artists today is life insurance!
As a little girl who grew up on Hip Hop, it makes me feel bad for how we all thought this man was a monster. It’s like he was the targeted fall guy for decades behind a murder in which he could have lost his own life as well... To hear him reminiscing on his time in Hip Hop, as well as how much he truly cared about Pac and other artists in their daily lives, these folks really had a head honcho that CARED and showed that! He ain’t perfect, but he gave these people STABILITY.
Big homie said the most truthful thangs about pac.. HANDS DOWN.. AND FROM THE MAN THAT WAS WITH HIM AND AROUND HIM LAST.. 8:18 8:19 8:20 8:20
His moment and recollection of when he first met the culture of Hip-Hop touched me. I think we can all relate to his story of how we all fell in love with the culture of Hip-Hop.
Thanks for sharing that Suge.
Went to school the day after Christmas break ended. We all had these pill shaped usb MP3 players. My Cousin burnt CD’s years prior so by watching him in the past I knew how to move files on the computer. Lol that day I showed up to school with so much music people actually paid me to put my music on their MP3’s. Went home with like 20 MP3’s that day and would average maybe 6-7 USB’s per week $5 a piece. That was a lot as a 12-13 years old in maybe 08-09. When older people started coming to me I actually started paying attention to the lyrics and drops, which was when I fell in love with hip hop (ALT rock too)

The lesson in Eazy-E’s story is be careful who you Marry and who you have children with because IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BUSINESS DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE. Every woman is not up for the task. All these black men talking about they don’t care about no woman’s education…good luck with that.
And in comparison to Tupac’s ex-wife who was up for the task and got him out of prison and into a better contract situation.
Also, the Day-to-Day administrative work at Death Row in its early years was run by Suge Knight ex-wife, I believe up until 1997. I believe Suge would still have Death Row if he didn’t let those broads get in the way of his marriage. She was the only one capable of helping maintain that record label.
Real shit never let the left know what the right is doing just in case the left wanna cross you thinking they’re right
I am not buying suge story it made no sense, because Suge x Easy hated each other lol
@@sven7037 They definitely had beef for a while, but I kind of think they would've squashed it. Maybe I'm wrong, but Mike Klein was Eazy-E's best friend. And now he's Suge's best friend. I think Mike could've brought those two brothers together very easily

Gee he looks just like his mother. He said something very powerful; “when you have a relationship with GOD, and you know what’s he’s capable of, whatever comes your way good or bad, you just deal with it.” Meaning don’t make excuses when you go through uncomfortable situations. 💯💯💯💯Through it all the LORD is always with you.🙌🏽
Look how the LORD works. That mother thought her daughter would never meet Suge, therefore she would never know about the $250k Suge gave her. Wish he would had put that money in a trust for when she became 18 and the attorney would meet with the mother and daughter. She could have used it for college, etc. Her mother spent that money. SMH

Yikes!!! @7:46 Suge is calling out Yaasmyn Fula for selling 2Pac's crown ring at an auction. It's about time someone spoke on her auctioning off his items. I never understood how fans could blindly support her vindictive, malicious, and money-grubbing ways.
Already back then Pac was saying that hip-hop was about to change and that rappers of his era were the lasts of their kind. Corporations, politicians and other groups who changed rap to what it became today couldn't let rap continue to be a powerful tool for oppressed people to talk about social issues and to educate the masses.
Tha way he gave suge tha mic and let him end tha conversation was legendary. Suge almost sounded like a Larry Hoover with tha game he was dropping... This shit is Hip Hop history

What about his own behavior?
They feared a distribution deal outside of their circle.
The analogy is true when suge talked about how ppl become a president of a record lable starting off as a mail carrier. They gone always give their ppl opportunities to grow. We need to do the same.
Suge Knight is THE HARDEST man on the planet. God bless this man, a mans man, a real stand up ninja. That's more than you can say about 99.9% of people in the world. Lets go Suge!

Suge really really is a smart dude and often over looked because of the bad things people put on his name and i wish this guy / icon nothing but the best moving forward and i pray he comes home soon. Im starting to realize that he was punished so bad by the industry because he didn't go with the flow he was his own flow. When he was talking about opening up a distribution company is when the higher ups knew it was time to get him out the way. Dame dash, irv gotti, suge was about to open up a distribution company and jay z went and told then all of a sudden all these guys went broke and lost their company and jay z the riches in the game 🤔 sounds fishy to me.
You seem to forget all the bad he did. Guy violated his own probation, went out running people over
I think it was the "UNION" talk..that made them get on his neck...
Yea yea, among other things..but that's why he stopped getting away with certain things..they couldn't let anyone start a union
Suge night is oldschool. And has a back bone. I can't say that for 75% of the rest of them. We need old school back. To bring this dam country back together. Free suge night.
Suge we love you baby ❤Thank you for your contributions to the world of music. I was a teenager when Pac passed away and I cried for days, they showed you afterwards I knew you had nothing to do with it. I know that hurt look. That look you have when you know you’ve been betrayed and hurt but you can’t show it. I know that feeling of losing someone who gave you hope and love and support and then you’re left with the snakes only. They knew the line up. I watched for one thing, who came up? Who actually benefited from the demise of this man? It damn sure wasn’t you. From what I understand they made you look guilty and then took everything from you and threw you away. I’m not saying you a saint we’re all guilty of something but that man’s death you are not guilty. I remember when Biggie was talking about how he couldn’t believe pac was gone because he knew how strong he was. Then he said someone was trying to kill him. So much sadness. Suge your moms baby. I’m very close to my sons and yes they’re always making me proud. I’m sorry for the loss of your mom. Know that she’s always with you. Love never dies. One day very soon it seems you will be exonerated and I hope that the world sees the real you. You continue to hold your head and know that you are loved by many people who know you have a good heart❤
Puffy and Snoop benefited and came up, Dre were going to be BIG No matter what!
Instead of killing Eazy he really set him right 4 life! That's why it's good 2 hear it from the horses mouth! This sounds more truthful ✌🏾
Ant nothing to believe until you hear it from a dead man but that ant happing 😂
I don’t think Suge set up Eazy for life that was probably one of the stipulations Eazy put in to let Dre go . Dre wasn’t signed to Suge he was signed to Eazy
