Paint Drying Rack for Hardie Plank, Lap Siding & Vertical Siding

I made a paint drying rack out of 2"x 3" and 2" x 4" wood and some wood blocks to dry and store my prepainted Hardie Plank lap siding. You can make and use the drying rack for painting or staining any lap siding, vertical siding, exterior or interior trim, exterior or interior doors and cabinets doors.

Thanks for sharing how you created the drying rack. I'm getting ready to do hardie siding and have been debating about painting the planks first then put up then was thinking of how to build a drying rack. Your video is a great idea. Thanks!

Thank you, Richard. Here, I sit down for a late dinner from working ALL day long on my siding job, and I find your uplifting and supportive words. You have made my day--truly! Yep, I'm frugal and terminally so. Sister is too. We work hard, and we like it. I always tell people that it's as hard to get sister and I so slow down as it is to get a couch potato to speed up. ;) And, I agree with you 100%. I have little time for lazy folks.
