This is a great video. It addresses several important painting issues when considering different Hardie siding painting options. However it leaves out one real important issue. I would like to hear a discussion on a cost comparison of painting on-site with pre-primed versus buying the more expensive ColorPlus and dealing with touch up issues. The cost of the paint and labor for painting is traded off against higher cost pre-painted siding but there are special handing costs and touch up costs. Is there a significant cost difference to the bottom line if you were preparing a cost estimate? I am sure every job is different but you can state your assumptions in the comparison.
