I wonder If a guy could set up a trigger trap around some mineral and catch them that way. We’ve talked about doing that here in Idaho up on the mountain. Just build a portable panel corral setup and two portable trigger gates that are also mobile and then they could be set up wherever you needed them at. You could use some heavy drill stem maybe to make it heavy duty enough for those kind of cattle. I know they use them in AZ a ton. We have water everywhere like y’all do but I imagine a guy could catch them with salt or even lick tubs. As much fun as roping wild cattle is sometimes it’s nice to get it over with quick and easy when you’ve got a lot going on.

You should watch Anchor Brand Ranch. They set cattle traps for their cattle. Works pretty well. Just have to make sure you have hay and water in the traps.

The problem with bringing in the last group, was the truck was in the way. If you would have moved it over to the otherside before bringing them in, those guys should have just walked right through with the way you were moving them nice.
I enjoy watching your videos because of the fine line between cattle handling and keeping them want to fight you.

You need to watch Ancor brand ranch here on UA-cam he makes some real traps with chains and poles. Cow go in hay lot and can't get out. They squeeze through chains and poles then chains and poles close back up so dumb cows can't get back out. You're welcome
