My respect for you Cody. You work your livestock in a sweet way!❤ No yelling, pounding, eye poking, and no kicking, and no hotshots, either. Again, you and your handies have my utmost respect. 🤗B
I agree! Just like Cody, my dad set up pens so that we could manage easily with gates. We never used hot shots b/c Dad didn’t want the cattle to associate the pens with getting shocked & cause us extra headaches. Like u said, these are no angus cattle! Just not as cute as angus either. 😁
What alotta organization & planning. Awesome. The gates are wicked loud & when the cattle are navigating that's a PUTA. But grt to observe calmness when guiding them. Grt job. And I'm only 1/2 way through
Accidently found your videos this evening and watched my first one. Really enjoyed watching your antics with the cattle as well and your dogs working the cattle. From the way the "boss" treated you, assumed she's your wife. Great video, I will continue watching for sure. Good luck !!
I just found your channel; your alright! I subscribed and know I'll learn something from the Pro's! I'll tune in, just stay safe to continue to post. And your blessed with a good wife! God bless
Good thing you had Ranch Kitty, Smash, and Intern Ross to help you with them mean mommas. Also, I think your little Border Collie is gonna make one hell of a hand too
Midwest girl and can not thank you enough for growing the Freestyle Fighting art. It is how it was meant to be. Fair chase, I say. As a hunter, I feel game should have a fair and equal chance to "f*ck you up". Hiding behind a cloak with the weapon and taking advantage of a fighting bulls nature has always seemed quite unfair. Real fighters study their opponent well and know their behaviors before "jumping in the ring". Pure adrenaline and a hearty shot of testosterone! Again, Thank you!
They sure are wild cattle. The only ones that I've seen close to that are scrub cattle that have gone wild and a lot of that is bluff. Lol I live in Australia and raise cattle sheep horses and farm.
Kool facility, crazy cows ,great video. Do you import those fighting cows ? Where does one get them and how much do they cost ??? . Thank you for your time ..
Low fertility, raise the selenium in their feed, or mineral blocks, or loose minerals. Selenium works every time. Higher vitamin E can help too. A combination of both is even better than either as a stand alone.
Hey Cody what will it take for me to get in the barrel ??? I watched r school number 3 and didnt understand the barrel seems the safest place to be id love that part
Love your videos of your fighting cows n bulls. Something that when you get time, is to check out the videos of Fernando JC Pereira on UA-cam n another one is Andreia Emanuel Soares.. These men raise fighting bulls on the Terceira Island in the Azores. It would b a great place to vacation also, if you n your wife just want to get away. Their videos of them doctoring their baby calves is the best. It takes about 6 men to hold one of their calf’s. Lol.
Big question pertain to bulldozing/fighting. Once the rider is off the animal & scored, is it the job of the clowns in the ring to loosen the bucking rope? How's it done?
I'm a bit surprised Cody that your bulls haven't had their red hot poker's trimmed as they are needle sharp and could do a lot of harm. If you want to quieten the nasty cows down that want to take you or your dog's,horses etc; on just sick their horns by 1/2 to 2/3ds with what ever you have handy. A chainsaw is best as they sure do quieten down enough that they won't stand you up and will. Go where you want every time. If you need them that they then it is another matter entirely. Anyway have fun.
Cody you need to put out more videos. Get a helmet cam or something and just record everything. Make that money. Have you every heard of Jimmy Adams? He is long gone but used to do a show standing on horses and such at the rodeos. He is from DFW Texas
Tying shut trailers and gates with ropes, climbing on swinging gates.... not on our ranch! Just asking for trouble and lots of work. Get some equipment kids!
