the phoenix shape is finally back, I loved the previous Phoenix 1000 with the different pick guard from this one but could not buy one, hope it is on production when I get the money
I started off not liking ESP, but the way they are really taking over the metal industry along with better quality Gibson like instruments, they have my vote.
@@rickb.341 no Ltd guitars are very well made, I have two Japanese ESP's and one Ltd and the Ltd is one of my favourite guitars, the manufacturing over the past few years has improved so much that the lower priced guitars are on par with high end guitars from 10-15 years ago. I also have an Edwards which are only sold on the Japanese market, they are mid range ESPs for Japan consumers and that guitar is really top notch as well. All the ESP family of guitars are very well made.
@@scootertb26 ok just checking because I am looking to buy an ltd over a fender.. and I am more interested in quality.. and you said they are good so that helps.
I'm not an ESP / LTD fan, owned a couple of EX models many years ago, played friends M series and just never gelled with them. BUT the new Phoenix models look absolutely killer!
Great video, I suggest you get a camera that picks up 60 fps, the details blurr with 30fps forcing people to stop the video. Overall great camera work and what a booth.
Thanks for the comment and suggestion! Our camera actually does 60fps, but we don't shoot in 60fps because of the increased file size of all the media (which is why we also haven't stepped up to 4K yet either). Larger files, more camera storage media, longer transfers, more powerful editing machines, more computer storage media, longer render times, longer upload times, etc. It seems that, especially with NAMM news, what's most important is getting content filmed, edited and uploaded quickly. Doubling the frame rate and therefore doubling the storage needed and render time and upload time would slow down the speed at which we can get these out. So we would have to take a close look at what's more important - quality or timeliness.
3:35 Hm, what does a 20db boost on a metal(!) guitar have to do with how good people can hear your solo? A boost into a gain channel only introduces more gain, noise and mud, but does not raise the volume. Jackson did the same thing on their MG series and it was useless. It would make more sense in Jazz or Blues, where you plug into a clean channel, because that way a boost CAN increase volume, depending on your pedal setup.
Really want an evertune guitar but have only seen one in stock at the Edmonton stores and the one they did have to check out had a massive crack going down the back of the body from the evertune routed hole..... L&M are to focused on selling vintage guitars and gear I haven't even been able to find a 10 to 60 string set but they have 300 packs of 10 to 46.
Hey ESP please reply ASAP, why have you kicked out EMG collaboration......? Just because they are old now or just because they haven't produced any thing new?
Jeremy Conner I was disappointed too. Was hoping they would have some killer E-ll Horizons. They really gave all the love to the LTD line unfortunately
a year ago when they first came out they started at 749. after a few months they went up to 799. now they are going for 849. I really wish the new 7 string reverse m-metal had 2 humbuckers. I would get one. But maybe a single Humbucker one would suffice
The price is on the tags but cannot make it out as its too small. On ebay there are listing for 950US/850Euro. The original LTD M-Black metal are listed €739 at the moment like Za Z said. I would say it is worth the increase of price if they came with gigbag/case but from what I see in the listings they don't.
ESP coverage from a store that literally never stocks anything in-store from ESP or LTD lmfao. I wanna try out some of these models, not a million different finish variations of Fenders and Gibsons. Those companies are great but there's plenty of fish in the sea!
ESP and LTD are not carried by all of our stores across Canada, only select stores. However, all ESP and LTD are available for order from any of our stores.
Agreed, most guitars at L&M are Gibson/Fender but I just scored a used LTD from L&M, a bit more selection at the L&M store near me would be great but I think most people like 50 year old designs with overpriced reissues. I sold my Gibson and got an ESP Eclipse.
Long & McQuade Musical Instruments What’s the use if I can’t try before I buy? I understand a store can’t stock every model of guitar but when you have a ratio of 10 Gibson’s/Fenders to 1 of any other brand it just gets annoying as all hell. If I wanted to order online there are multiple sites with better pricing and service. The reason I want to buy from L&M is because I can actually go to a location and try a guitar before I buy. Hope in the future your stores start to offer more variation, but at the end of the day, I get that the big brands probably sell better than ESP’s just because of general brand recognition.
Because it's referring to the genre that most guitarists who would be interested in those model guitars are tyically playing. We don't imagine a lot of bluegrass players are going to be interested in these guitars.
I've had my LTD 2020 see-through Cherry for a week now. And the bridge being black it is already down to the silver. What did they use spray paint on these things. PATHETIC!
It's nice to see somebody that KNOWS their product!.....Great job ESP
wow ESP is killing it with the LTD's this year.
uh huh, where's the LH love?
I got a couple LTD models an they play and sound great, nice vid, thanks for posting this
Absolutely love the 80’s series!!
wow these new models are awesome..solid back to basics..
