On the contrary, Bowser isn't wrong there. You can technically punch ghosts in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS as well as ground pound them and you can also punch ghosts in the Mario Party mini-game, "Running Of The Bulb". I remember that teamwork is required to win in said mini-game. One player holds the bulb while the other three players punch the ghosts.

The comments debating the Whole Bowser/Luigi ship are concerning as hell. Most of this video is pretty wholesome. And like it's a Fictional Turtle man and a Plumber.....I personally don't even like the ship and I'm here to tell yall: Relax. It is not and never will be that deep. People are allowed to ship and write content for toxic ships. We can like toxic characters and content(The Joker, Homelander and Baron Zemo have whole fanbases. They are all horrible people, highkey.)
My main reason I ship them is just because of the cute/wholesome art, I don't think they have chemistry, I just think it's adorable when people draw them together.

Deeper characterisation for: -Bowser -Luigi -Junior -Koopalings -Bowser's Kingdom and its history -The occasional OC minion I'm not huge on when there' huge power imbalance, and they're far from my favorite ship, but to me, all that I've listed above is more than worth it when I find especially great fics, like "As Told By Junior".

Maybe BiS's remake counts too, but I still really like the idea of Luigi as a positive influence in Bowser's Kingdom. Plus, he has very cute dynamics that can be explored with every possible existing or original character in that castle. Also, these comics and most of the fanart is very cute. Meanwhile some AO3 writers are out there characterising Bowser, his children and his kingdom better than Nintendo has ever done (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and the first three Paper Mario games feel like the only ones where they at least depicted Bowser having a relationship with his minions).
Maybe BiS's remake counts too, but I still really like the idea of Luigi as a positive influence in Bowser's Kingdom. Plus, he has very cute dynamics that can be explored with every possible existing or original character in that castle.
Also, these comics and most of the fanart is very cute.
