You know... Sometimes I really feel bad for you guys, subjecting yourself to games this awful, and this is definitely one of those times 😭 Thank you for going through something as painful as this for our enjoyment 😅
8:01 My mom knew that guy was Bilbo in that film. He was young in Alien. I didn't know he was in Ratatouille. I think he's older than the character he plays in that. I'm stunned by how visually bad it is. 22:18 I don't think it was blurred in the movie but you didn't get a good look anyway.
Jovovich is pronounced -Yo-vo-vich'. also, she had a brief music career in the 1990s, she released an album called The Divine Comedy, it was very Kate Bush inspired
One of my favourite films of all time. The soundtrack is still amazing and one of best in any film. Possibly the best film old Bruce has done and Gary oldman is great, Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg is one of my favourite bad guys.
I agree, "The Fifth Element" is one of my favorite films ever. It's right up there with the first four Die Hard movies(yes, even the 4th one with the tech guy). But yeah, Fifth Element is a great film, and a classic film, like Die Hard, that was always a bit underappreciated, but it was a successful movie for almost everyone involved, Chris Tucker would go on to do films like Rush Hour, with Jackie Chan, which I also liked. Gary Oldman would play Commissioner Gordon in the Christian Bale Batman movies, and he definitely did pretty well, although his accent is questionable in this movie, he is a very enjoyable bad guy. Pretty much everybody nails it in this movie, from the acting to the soundtrack. But the game itself? I haven't played, because I never owned a PS1, as a kid. But I have seen the movie multiple times on TV, as a kid, and it's definitely one of the BEST movies I've ever seen. It's like Die Hard, but with a little bit of Back To The Future, most of it being set in space, but all in a great way. It really is one of the best Bruce Willis movies ever. The Fifth Element is definitely the definition of a "cult classic" type of movie. And I definitely mean that in the best way possible, because it IS one. It's like taking Die Hard, plus Back To The Future, putting them together, and making an amazing underappreciated cult classic movie. Not sure about the game, but I have heard about how bad it was. But in the world of movie-tie in games, it's not that surprising. Especially when it's an awesome movie like The Fifth Element. You'd probably be either be better off rewatching the film itself, or watching someone else playing the game. Because the game looks like it lacks some of the things that make the film amazing...
Since the first time watching the fifth element film I always thought it would make a great game with flying cars everywhere and a futuristic city you could explore but to me the game series that has done this the best is ratchet and clank particularly the ps3 games where because of the advanced hardware actually had loads of flying cars zooming across the futuristic city which straight away reminded me of the fifth element, there was even a flying taxi in the second game that you could travel to different areas in - still enjoy the ratchet and clank games today mainly for the great levels, crazy weapons and gadgets and humour
I've played this game as a fan of the movie when I was younger. The timed events were the most frustrating but it was wasn't the worst kind compared to other games. The platforming is so bad, it has given me PTSD when jumping in other games, then again most platforming games in the 90's era were very precise and their punishment system was brutal.
Are we talking about bad by modern nowadays standards? Then sure it is. Are we talking about back at its time? In that case there have been waaaaay worse contemporary titles floating around back then.
For a SHORT period in time I thought Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element was the most annoying movie character ever created. Then George Lucas said "Hold my beer!" and blessed the world with Jar Jar Binks. Thanks a lot, George!
Yeah this also had a pc port, to bad there never was a improve mods or rom hack for the pc or ps1 port. To make to the game more rebalance and less hard and less janky or clunky, and just be more fun. Alot of 90's 3D games that didn't age well with jank controls, might need a mod or rom hack to fix them.
i think maybe it is a bad port, like the graphics look pretty good for the time just the controls suck, same vibe as the PSX Men in Black game, it looks great and you want to love it but the controls make it torture.
I have a weird fascination with this game because of the disproportionately high number of IMDb votes compared to other games around that time. The impression I get is that thousands of people must have thought they were rating the movie.
The opening is perfect satire for today. Starmer's genocidal conservative stormtroopers doing his dirty work, purging left-wing MPs from the party and replacing them with actual Tories.
Well you tried to be different people but forgot halfway through after your Patreon plug which is still in Dollars for some reason. And an easy way to cut down on the video is loss the talk to billy and rulesboss shit.
Jeremy Corbyn part is pure gold. 😹
Negative, I am a meat popsicle
The movie is a strange and unique one. I never knew it had a video game. I wonder if my dad would have played it since he liked the film.
The theatre part gives me the chills to this day. I rewatch this film regularly.

That cold open is perfect.
Titan AE was a film that could have spawned a film and game series of space cowboys. Still gutted. Sadly the game never released.

I loved this game and completed it despite knowing it was probably bad.
Same here me and my nephews kinda enjoyed it, was probably ok for the time.
One of the 1st games I got had no choice to finish it as I was but a wee chap
@@gerdollard9933 The soundtrack is soooo good.
that dab at the end really hit me where it hurts
Kooorben Dallaaaaaaas! Intimate is this studmuffin’s middle name!
Its odd how Bruce Willis didn't allow his likeness to be used in the game, yet he did for other games.
Like it or not, this is what peak gaming looks like.
Chris tuckers performance is phenomenal in this movie and people who don’t like it are uncultured
I had this game on my chipped PS before it was out in UK and remember liking it, was 25 years ago tho.
I wonder if you showed Bruce Willis this game, would he think it was the movie? Get it? Coz his brain is shrinking from dementia. It's so funny.
I'd swear you've played this game before.
Ben and Peter might have, Dick and Brian have not to my knowledge.
this game could be remade into something so good with very little interference
Amazing as always ❤

No wonder you guys need a Patreon, having two special guests on for a month must be expensive. Then you have to pay Ben and Peter for time off. Yeesh.
I think they're on unpaid leave as punishment for losing
@@_1ShadeofGray_ Ah ok, much better to hear.
I have a hard time believing Activision was ever beloved.
Use the dpad instead of analogue-to-depad, might help with the stick drift.

@robertnope1993 BZZZZZZZT!!! 🤩
Pancreatic acid?!
Noooo! I loved Fifth Element, am I so out of touch? No... It's the children who are wrong.
Great to see Brian and Dick once again on the channel! I can now dab once again!!!
Anyone else getting Duke Nukem 3D vibes from this game?
If they lock up Jezza we're invading.
Love The Fifth Element Movie (1997) not the game.
I love both
I got that game back in the day and barely played it. I couldn't remember anything about it.
Loved the movie, seen the game when it came out and just "noped" out of there. Then again, its not like there has been game movies back then.
Now I know how a TV dinner feels...
No, wait...
Yeah this also had a pc port,

Love the film and I remember playing this game and being so disappointed
Lol i do remember genuinely enjoying this when i was a kid, but in fairness i cant remember much about it.
the game starts at 10:06
All the way up till they said it's about a taxi driver I was confusing this with the 6th sense
Need to go into the emulator setting and increase the deadzone🤓
Came here to say that.
Woot! Robot Wars reference!!!
peter would know about The Borrowers, but only parts of Fith Element. Make it make sense
13:25 Richard Gere can fight Bruce and live to tell the tale
Hey guys love your videos been subscribed ages but they've disappeared off my UA-cam unless I go look for them 🤔🤔
You know the game is bad when you can finish it quicker than the movie
Not gonna lie, this is visually stunning.
22:47 what movie ever blurred nudity like that? I know you're not movie boys, but seriously?
i think maybe it is a bad port, like the graphics look pretty good for the time just the controls suck, same vibe as the PSX Men in Black game, it looks great and you want to love it but the controls make it torture.
I bought this year's ago just to own and never played 😅
I photoshop'd Jeremy Corbin onto Corbin Dallas a while back so this made me smile 😆
I'm sad this game basically ruined the chances of their being Nightmare Creatures 3
bloodborne demake is nightmare creatures 3 lol ,seriously check it out
The establishment got him :(
He was in Alien aswell guys
Never this game existed...not mad. Money saved....
Hot hot hot!
new select screen is .:chef's kiss:.
I feel mabey the emulator settings clean the game up to much and loses abit that PS1 charm 👀
How yall not know who Chris Tucker is?
They've made a game of this movie!?
Has there even been a shittier game for a more amazing movie? Genuinely wondering...
Couldn't we have had a game about The Fifth Elephant instead?
I miss Sir Terry so much. My favourite author.
But we got a few Discworld Games?
@@Justforvisit 1,2 and Noir
Hmm 🤔 interesting
3:44 Game starts
The editor put way too much effort into that opening segment 😂
Is the film good?
It's a Sci Fi Masterpiece!
I'm a meat popsicle.
Edit: Dabbing in 2024? Jesus Christ.

👻
You're playing a psx game with THUMBSTICKS!? Oh you Don't even have a chance.
Yeah, of course they would think it's bad when they play it like that xD
Love Brian and Dick! but what happened to ben and peter?
The controls are about as good as Bruce Willis acting
WGE Sucks/Rules!
Ah Jeremy Corbyn, the best PM we never had and probably didn't deserve anyway if I'm honest.
The opening is perfect satire for today. Starmer's genocidal conservative stormtroopers doing his dirty work, purging left-wing MPs from the party and replacing them with actual Tories.
