  • Burnout can feel like you have nothing left - no energy, no emotions, no willingness to do anything. Its just emptiness when you have given your all and still did not get where you were going. But maybe the destination does not even exist? Its in the infinite future - which will never arrive? In this video, I define burnout in my own terms since I once went through it. I hope this video gives you hope because burnout can be overcome :)

I'm glad you mentioned that burn out doesn't have to just come from work, but can come from relationships, hobbies, etc. I really can come from anything.. omg sooo true there's always TO DO list, which never gets finished. That's so accurate. Great topic to shed some light on.

Thank you so much for sharing, educating and showing us all we're not alone to have suffered with burnout. I think it's becoming more and more common and it's gone to look at ways to prevent it happening and to learn the warning signs :D

Isn't balance one of the hardest things to find but one of the most important things to find!? It's quite sad that in today's society, we feel like we have to constantly go go go or else we aren't being productive. I have definitely felt the burn out before and am teaching myself about balance and not feeing guilty when I slow down and take some time for myself. Thanks for this video and reminder!

hey Polya, I completely relate to burnout, as a single mum of 4 and working and home educating and making videos and running some social media, its understandable that I do get fried at times, its great to do videos like this, you always offer great advice, I'm sure you are of value in peoples lives. i can relate to the time issue, just being able to watch a movie is such a treat, and when we have such little time for us it starts to feel overwhelming doesn't it. yes the modern world is too fast, i often long to live in a motorhome and park up in countryside, sit by a campfire and just enjoy life, without all the hustle and bustle of busy life. im so glad you managed to recover from the burnout, yes i regularly wake up and long for bedtime again,
another great informative video thankyou for sharing x

You really explained well burnout and why it happens. Balance is really important in life. I've experienced burnout in college during exam session. We had so many thing to do and it was awful and I didn't have any time for myself.

Music is a wonderful solution, but i also think whats important is inner work and understanding how to change your thinking patterns in order to react to life differently and see life differently
