Head to file storage system ...in samsung it is with the name "my files"
Inside my files , you will see storage system folders listed namely internal storage and sd card in case sd card has been mounted
Select internal storage and check the files inside it ........you will see dcim folder
The dcim folder contains further a subfolder called camera which contains all images and videos
Select any image or video that you want to move to sd card ....once selected , you get the option to move...tap on move
As soon as you tap move , you will see move here ...This move here is to pressed after you navigate to the sd card folder
That's all there is to it !

Thanks! It's not intuitive to have a "Move Here" option with nothing to immediacy select as the destination; I would have never thought of using the back button to locate the new destination! Awesome instruction :0).

Worked great thanks! Bought a new phone and had taken many photos before I moved the SD card over from my old phone. This dropped them right in the correct timeline with the photos already on SD card! Awesome!!

The problem I have is that when I move the files to SD card, they're always transferred out of order, which makes it annoying to find things like screenshots
You can select where to put them ....if you put in dcim folder it will appear in your gallery

Great video Clear explanations! My problem is that each time I take a picture on my phone I've set it so it saves it to my SD card, but when I delete the picture from my photo gallery it deletes from my SD card too? Defeats the object of having a SD card
It happens because although it appears in gallery it is stored in sd card ..... Images stored in sd card as well as internal storage shall both get displayed in gallery ..... Besides if you have Google pics these images will always be there so you won't lose precious images .... Again very easy to restore images from Google pics to phone gallery
