Given the choice between the two, I'll take Tadakatsu over Lu Bu any day, both to have serve me and to fight. Lu Bu, as the DW series progressed, got easier and less fun to fight (even in WO), while Tadakatsu has always been good for a nice rumble. I always enjoy fighting the guy for some reason. Loyal, honorable, and I prefer his theme's to Lu Bu's. It just screams "AW YEAH! IT'S GO TIME!!!"
@iTzXxMiNi I would more say that Tadakatsu was the strongest and Miyamoto was the most skilled swordsman in the land. Because Musashi travelled the land duelling other people, while Tadakatsu fought in over 60 battles. But the Number One Warrior in Japan for me will always be Sanada Yukimura!
my opinion is that Lu bu is the best i really liked the last stage of his story mode in dw6 when he destroys every chinese warlord playable in dynasty warriors 6 and then when he's done the cutscene where he wants more battles i would be kinda like it if tadakatsu showed up and then they started to fight (but its al my imagination)

Also, some strength fighters such as Kunoichi and Keiji Maeda can be used to deliver a constant string of punishment usually only attainable by speed characters if you know how to use them.
ok in true historical records ranged....Lu Bu his arrows where insanely accurate....close quaters on horse back Lu Bu on ground can go either way butmore likely honda....but in a duel its goig to lu bu he was cnsidered to be sooo skilled he matched the mythical achilles in prowess

yea the speed is faster attacking and lesser defense and sometimes attack then power is slower but more defense or offense or both and techincal is a fair balance of them 2 genrally it goes by that but sometimes they mixit up a bit by the likes of taishi chi who if i member right is speed because he is very offense is fast and yet has a lot of defense so they make him faster so there ya go :D

Depends on what game you're looking at. I know Lu Bu was (together with Zhuge Liang) the best in DW5, but in Warriors Orochi Lu Bu was mediocre to say the least. In WO Tadakatsu is the stronger one, but when SW is compared to DW I couldn't be able to tell.
Tadakatsu in the samurai warriors series isnt a villain, Lu Bu is,and in orochi Tadakatsu kicks the crap outta Lu Bu so there is ur answer. i like em both tho, but for different reasons
Yeah... think your Yu-Gi-Oh card is a bit off... Tadakatsu should be a [Divine Beast] type-creature, at LEAST 12 Stars, with close to 10,000 Atk points :P
lu bu is equal on technically skilled with tadakatsu and way more powerful than tadakatsu but on orochi lu bu is a bitch anyway unless played on hard/chaos and tadakatsu is better on that keiji meada my fave of whole series matches lu bu in strength but not skill so keiji + tadakatsu = lu bu simple or jus put zhang fei guan yu and zhao yun as they make lu bu also zhang fei = lu bu's wildness guan yu his strength and zhao yun his skill

Tadakatsu fights for ieyasu. Lu Bu for fun just like keiji maeda. These 3 are my favorite because they're huge :D
