The SW1 version of Nagashino is hands down the best one. Just a shame they didn't use the SW1 version of Anegawa, God, when I think about it, SW1 easily had the best arrangements for the soundtrack, SW2 also had some awesome shit too like Tetorigawa, but damn, this just trumps it all.
ik this is a very old comment made before the game even released, but sw4 had some really damn good music too. Its a slightly different feel to the older games but i sort of prefer it and the remixes of the older ones it has.

SW1 and SW1XL are my absolute favorite. For me they could never top SW1. I tried liking 2-4 but they just didn't get it right like 1. They went all out and put their heart and soul into that game. The music, weapons, items, abilities, characters, stages, modes, atmosphere, story. I still love it to this day. I wish Koei didn't sell their soul with Tecmo and started whoring out everything as DLC. Warriors Orochi Z was the last genuine Koei game.

I remember running on the battlefield as kunoichi (free mode) or Tadakatsu, slicing and dicing some poor fools who came too close. Then, i slay an officer and the cold (almost creepy) voice of hanzo briefly saying "We too shall accomplish our duty..." Well... I had the french version, so it actually said "Nous aussi nous accomplirons notre devoir...". And Damn, the french voice was almost creepier than the english one. Almost made me think of a serial killer or a predator XD
The very beginning is so intense but then the rest of the song slows down and sounds terrible. It was literally the remix of revenge of shinobi in the beginning.
