I lived my childhood in Qatar in Doha but sadly after my father's demise ( my age was 7 then ) after that we immigrated to India. I still remember how the people of Qatar were honest.

I've left my wallet full of credit cards and cash in Dubai at a restaurant by accident and when I realised a day later, I came back and found everything intact. I live in doha, qatar and I am Christian. I have never been disrespected because of my religion or because I don't wear a hijab. It is a very peaceful country where everyone respects each other and I am sure it is the same in other middle eastern countries.
I used to live in UAE (now in Qatar) and it is, indeed, very peaceful regardless of the person's race/religion/skin colour and all. Love it here. The only problem is... it's too hot. xD

My wallet has been stollen in america 2 times ofcourse everything was gone but then one time I actually forgot my wallet in starbucks in colorado and There was all this cash inside and cards. I was about to stop the cards when I received a call from the bank asking if I lost a wallet, I said yes!!!! They said theres a man calling and saying you lost your wallet in starbucks and he wants to talk to you to give it back! He left them his number and I called him and he asked to meet in the same starbucks without giving me the address so I went the same day and it was a middle aged asian man and asked me whats inside the wallet and whens your date of birth and middle name. I appreciate his integrity to this day because little do we find such good hearted people. Thank you sir we need more people like you.

I used to go to malls quite often even though I had no money, eye shopping xD... and if you are a good person doesn't matter if you are poor or not.. and those people on the street didn't look poor at all too.
