I was at my rehearsal for my schools production of Annie. And one of the older girls helping out with choreography said “you can’t be cool when doing musical theatre, we are all nerds” Also what I take from tghdlm is if u like theatre you’re gonna become a alien monster with a perfect voice

As someone who performed in a musical adaption of Moana, I find 3:00 super fucking hilarious because I was just silently in the dress room (I was in the monster ensemble, we all had the luxury of chilling in the dress room), watching the latter half of Act 1 from a monitor go on and listening to it through the walls (monitor had no sound, stage was right by dress room)
