Firebringer is my favourite original musical (as in musical that's not based on something else like Harry Potter or Disney) that Starkid has done EVER. It is the most underrated thing EVER, and I find it cool that Meredith (who plays Jamila) wrote the music. It's so amazing. Thank you for this!

As someone who performed in a musical adaption of Moana, I find 3:00 super fucking hilarious because I was just silently in the dress room (I was in the monster ensemble, we all had the luxury of chilling in the dress room), watching the latter half of Act 1 from a monitor go on and listening to it through the walls (monitor had no sound, stage was right by dress room)

Gonna drop a hot take. This is one of their if not the best of their shows from a story telling, comedy, and writing perspectives. Its messy but it’s quite a lot more than the sum of its parts. I don’t like a good amount of StarKid shows and gotta say I REALLY love firebringer.
