By holding Q you can change the snap point and I think it will show a HUD if you hold it in you hot bar instead of just hold it
I think he said in a previous episode that he keybinds Q to "Whistle All Stop".

Fun fact, if you find a wild baby and parent, if you tame the parent you can also tame the baby! That way you don’t have to choose between two good level critters
Not gonna lie, I was really hoping for a "ASA blind 100 days raptors only", but I'll take getting a raptors only run at nearly the same time as the first run. Lovely watching the videos regardless!
I think the new night lighting is more realistic and frankly actually bareable. I skipped night entirely on my single player evolved saves because it was straight up unplayable

I hate night on ASE it’s awful I usually basically turn nights off so I don’t have to deal with it. The night on this is beautiful especially since I’m on console and don’t have access to gamma especially on servers.

Its funny you say it’s hard to notice when you’re hungry or thirsty, I mean it blinks purple around the whole screen and impossible to miss because its annoying and cover so much.

Hello! To run Ascended and also make content I would recommend at least a 3080 Graphics Card and a good processor. 32GB RAM at least as well!

I don’t get how you’re confused with the ui on the right because it’s basically the same except with xp at the bottom instead of the top. Although it is a bit smaller and you’re not the only one that doesn’t notice it. It might be because there are no sounds
Yes I think it must be the sounds. My character no longer sounds like he’s about to collapse when he gets a bit hungry😂

i have a 4080, and 13 series i5 which is well above the recommended specs. i have no problem achieving high fps at epic graphics settings, the only issue im having is the crashing. low settings crash, high settings crash. for comparison i also play cyberpunk 2077 with all settings maxed out and get a stable 120+ fps and it never crashes. on the other hand my hardware runs about 10-15 degrees cooler with ASA compared to CP2077. with ASE i never crashed but i only started playing roughly 6 months ago. i think the game just need major focus on optimization to make it run better on average hardware and fix the crashing issue, theres no particular thing that makes the game crash, ive had it crash while walking, running, swimming, collecting berries on a dino, grabbing items from storage, immedietely after finding a beaver nest with tons of paste.... you get the point. optimize, stabilize, thats whats needed first IMO.
this may be completely wrong but I think i heard in like a syntac video that you hold Q to un-snap stuff like forges on foundations, again this may be wrong going completely off memory.
Ok I’ve just checked and I seem to be right
I definitely tweaked rates slightly but nothing crazy, plus some basic Dino addition mods and automatic doors and a few other dino mods and I'm having a blast! I admit it doesn't run the best on the series S but it runs well enough (without changing settings around, only turned on vsync).
Well , they had to release what they had, before Oct 31, or nitrado would have owned a big chunk of the game, per their contract, no matter how unfinished it is, or how much more work they could have put into it.
I mean no disrespect, but I find Iguanadons to be the best Berry harvesters. They gather berries at an alarming rate, They can actually turn berries into their seed forms so you can grow them yourself, and not to mention they have infinite running stamina on all fours, and can be pretty tanky. I took on an alpha raptor and won
I've been surprised, haven't touched gamma once. Some nights are darker then others so at least you don't have a consistent atmosphere.
I don’t mind low rate but when the official server is crashing every hour then rate should be double since you don’t have time for anything

you really dont need to fear thery that much you can easily kill them with the pteranodon
A tip for you rampy if you havnt figured it out already, you can right click on the engram you need mats for and you can track it!
I remember when ark first came out, there was no such thing as cryo pods lol, it made it a game changer when they were added
ngl, my argis I tamed by tanking the damage with fur armor and shooting them whenever they were in front of me

I just refunded the game. I have a 4070 and was getting maybe 35fps on medium settings 1080p. Pretty disappointing. If they don’t fix this soon I think I’m saying goodbye to ark forever
They're gonna fix it. No way they'll just cut off the majority of fans with specs. Also consoles will require that optimisation anyway

I can’t find wild dino food drain in the settings.. I used to use it rather than changing the taming multiplier but the setting seems to be removed from this version of ark has anyone else noticed this? I guess I’ll just change the taming multiplier if I can’t find it.. I can find the food drain multiplier but that doesn’t specify wild so I assume that’ll also make your tamed dinos food drain quicker which is an issue.. can’t figure out why they would remove this setting as it was popularly used instead of taming multiplier I believe

I realize you are way farther into the series than this episode (i have them queued lol) but the method i learned for catched Argies was using dino gates spaced out and luring them in there. that way they cant flee, and offers a bit more protection from wild dinos. 🤘🏽

I saw on a syntac video that you can pin items to craft and it will display what materials you need and how many you have. Not sure if you know about this, worth looking into for future videos
i think drops should be good like they are now, i feel like it fits the theme of the game, with helena giving the survivor a boon to help them out. perhaps they could make it so that only blueprints for weapons/armor will drop so that even though you're getting good items you still have to go out and collect the resources to craft them.

Hey Rampy, can i ask how do you have such high level dinos? mine dont go above 150, tried to meddle with settings but nothing changed :/ same with dino count increase, no improvement
150 is max level for me also!
