So if you use the Audio4c and the playaudio12, are you just setting the input of Ableton as the audio4c and the output as the PA12? Or is it better to make them an aggregate device so that the input and output device matches in Ableton? And then I'm guessing you need to pick a buffer size which is a balance between reliability and low latency for the vocal processing. Thanks
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. In one of your videos you said, all the brands advertise how pristine their preamps are and all that, but we don't care about that. I believe you were demoing the playaudio 12, so yeah, no inputs, but what about the new auidio4c? would you say it can record low noise, studio-quality audio? and what about the latency when recording vsts, and when recording vocals with fx for monitoring? does it offer workable latencies? Thank you.
Please help! My new Audio4C has very noisy mic inputs. The noise is consistent and is the same volume, whether you turn the gain up or down. The noise is also there when the gain is all the way down and nothing is plugged into the inputs. I do my normal gate, but the amount of noise creates somewhat of a white noise type of snare drum. I understand noise with inputs but this is a bit too wild for my taste, even. Is this normal for this box? Thank you in advance. fs2s.link/oakboard-mini and here's my course showing how to setup and use it with Live: fromstudiotostage.com/courses/using-the-oakboard-mini-with-ableton-live/
Hi I have a Steinburg UR 22 interface recording is fine yet occasional interference on playback, which makes it impossible to hear playback with interference about every 30 seconds, I was wondering if it might be the unit it's self
You can use 2 UAD interfaces with the PlayAUDIO12 as the output switcher as well.
omg from the fuckin source!!!
just bought my play12 thank you
@@westknollsproaudio8931 Enjoy. We are pretty cool like that. Also we love stalking our friend Will Doggett's videos

Great videos. Where canI find that simple midi interface with only play and stop buttons?

so essentially phantom power impedance just means protection from phantom power surges? like you mentioned the play audio 12 and audio 4c both have?
bingo
This is gold, thank you 🙏
"No it's 1 interface" lol
